Oh damn. So this is why my sub has been acting screwy! I’ve been banging my head trying to figure it out. Redid my wiring, changed my ground, rerouted wires. It has been driving me insane! Thanks for making the video!

Good job taking out the ANC! I took mine out of the 18 CRV I have but I was like did I take out the right one. All those wires on the cllip made me think if I was correct but sure enough it was because of all those mics that are in yoúr car. I am glad I unplugged mine. Thanks so much. I kept changing my ground trying to figure out what was going on because my subs would just randomly hit with radio off. I did crack that very first panel on a 22’. It was super tight. Lucky it’s not that noticeable when put all back together . 😅
so i never got the whine but i get heavy reverb when turning on and off...the shop and i spent forever figuring this out... My question is, do the mics need to be unplugged as well or just this control unit because we unplugged both. If this controls them all i will plug the mics back in lol

I have a 2021 Honda Accord Lx and my aftermarket subs making a humming sound when the windows is all the way up but goes away when I let them down or when I open the doors
My anc module is still connected and i dont have no issues with my sound system…i have a sundown sub extra battery and a isolator, 2 amps 1 for my sub and 1 for my alpine r series in the doors and rear deck
I get a hiss from the tweeters at higher speeds (80mph +) is that because of the ANC? even with music playing or off, I get the hiss from the speakers. Thanks!
I don't believe it would be related but could be wrong. Just crack the driver side window and if the sound goes away, it's anc module. It only works with the windows closed

When I disconnected my anc on a 21’ Honda Ridgeline sport I lost all my microphones. Therefore I can’t talk on the phone handfree and I can’t hear my google maps app when it gives directions… any idea how to fix this?
You can run the tune on a stock car just get better results with bolt ons. They help with lessening the stress on the turbo and make more power. Theres links for the ktuner in my videos
Are we sure it don't affect Bluetooth? Whenever a caller calls me they say it echoes really bad. I think we need to research what wires are at play here and only pinout what's necessary. Alot of us have the echo problem.
I had mine installed at Best Buy and if i leave my phone in the car after i shut it off , i sometimes get a bass buzz or rumble .is that issue the same ?
I'm not sure, this is active from what I know when all the windows are up and your driving. It won't take very long to check if your is disconnected might as well
Either this or it's interference with the power and ground wires. Sometimes when they are run next to one another they can buzz if the wires insulation isn't good
But are the wires still running next to one another somewhere? If so separate them or put something in between them . Other than that I'm not sure what else would cause that other than the anc module

I don't know, must be a 2018-2019 thing. My 2020 Accord doesn't "buzz" and I have replaced all speakers with JL Audio and have a CT Sounds Tropo 12" hooked to a CT Sounds CT-1000.1D using an Audio Control L2Ci and its perfectly fine.
Just automatically disconnected mine, but it's only active when your windows are closed. If one is open the anc is deactivated. May want to test it out.
@@DanVilla7 that could be a possibility. As far as I know, the ANC works off the factory subwoofer, but since my car doesn't have a factory one, that could be the reason I'm not affected. Either that or I just got lucky. However, after doing some research, have you tried just turning the ANC off through the head units developer mode? Press and Hold: POWER/VOLUME KNOB + HOME + SOURCE Select: Detail Information and Setting screen Press and Hold: HOME + Audio Check Select: Audio Setting Set: PS to OFF Exit Developer mode (Via tapping Returns) Doing that could save a lot of time pulling the dash apart.
If you crack your windows a s it stops this is what you need to disconnect. Ifnyounjust have you reae windows open going 60 mph and you get that sound it's just air turbulence

If the windows are open it's deactivated. test it with them closed while driving

The rear speakers stoped working after i installed an amp they weren’t blowen or anything help with what could have gone wrong

That wouldn't cause that. Try unpairing your phone and pair it again

This will not affect your mic or phone calls only the noise cancelation

If you have a built in sub by Honda, they took it out. If no factory sub, most likely you have one of those ANC modules.

Unfortunately I wouldn't, with the Accord everything functions normally when unplugged. I guess the system on the Ridgeline doesn't operate the same.

It wont affect any of that. Everything will work perfectly no warning lights.

I had a sub put in my car no issues
If you always keep your windows open it will never be but if you have then closed then the anc will case some unwanted tones to go through the sub

Anyone else get engine noise? They took this module out. I upgraded to a JL amp which worked a little. But dang the engine noise sucks!!
Will this also disable the fake engine noise generated in sport mode? Also, is road noise significantly louder after disabling/unplugging?
It will not, i didn't notice much of a difference in road noise if any after doing this.
