They’re missing Kyle’s point. Kyle essentially said Kawhi came in with this killer/clutch mentality that the Raps never had, and it initially rubbed the players the wrong way. Then as the season carried out and he lead them to a chip- they understood the role.
It's too bad that the Clipper team that Kawhi played with after he left the Raptors didn't understand their role. They didn't like his load management, and there were other players who didn't like his special treatment. He was going against several alphas on that team.

Personally I live here in Toronto and was here for our very fortunate run to a championship. Deep down we all knew he didn’t want to be here for the long term but he showed up did it his way and gave us probably our first and last championship. Albeit we had the warriors literally all drop from injuries we still go our championship. He is always going to be a legend here.
