What a nice Woody; and what a fantastic restoration.
Beautiful car...great restoration
Stunning! I can't imagine the no of labor hours that went into this project.
Absolutely stunning restoration!!!
GORGEOUS and MAGNIFICENT, and all stock .That is the way to to this car BEAUTIFUL
My grandmother owned a 1949 Buick Roadmaster Woody wagon, in green. I was only about 3 or 4 years old when she passed away in either 1949 or 1950. She was a beautiful woman, and my earliest memory at age 3 was sitting on her lap and feeling her loving heart.
Great restoration! All original .. A car of beauty.. My dad loved those bucks. Be had several over the years🙂
A thing of beauty fantastic restored car you must be proud of it
Back when works of art rolled down the road not just cars
Wow! I learned how to drive in a Buick like this. It was a four door with a flathead straight 8 but I'm not sure what year it was, This restoration is unbelievable! That's the way it should be done.
Perfect restoration. My Dad had a Buick 53 Roadmaster in the 60's. He was really good on vacation travel... Good memories!!
Simply out of this world, wonderful work on your 53 Roadmaster wagon.
Mel Bch 🌴 Admirable. Extremely expensive vehicle to restore. Your a dedicated trooper 👌 🏄
Beautiful car, I am a Buick Man as well, It is too bad they don't build the new ones with the pride they put into the old ones.
In most cases. I don't mind a restored I was happy to see this one remaining original, good job.
Why would anyone give this a thumbs down? A new car all over again.
Great work ! Wonderful !
Cars made during that time period were a perfect piece of ART. I studied the features when this car was being put together and it is hard to realize that was a production car that anyone could buy at a dealership, Then drive it to church, or to work, or drive it on vacations. Wonderful video. of a wonderful Buick.
I have a good friend in the Buick Club of America who has a nicely restored 1953 Buick Super Woody wagon. Similar in size but a lower trim level.
A suggestion: "timing" is a little tiring, check it again a little faster, at 1.25 video speed. As to the image, this wasn't a restoration, it was a resurrection. It's the best car restoration video and the most beautiful car I've ever seen.
My dad had a 48 four holer, long ago and far away
Better than original
Hopefully someone will step in and take over
Restoring a vehicle is a lot work and very expensive, especially in these inflationary times, also one time jobs are difficult because you don't have the experience and tools to accomplish.
This vehicle is in good condition. The interior looks great. Some real skill on the new wood. Was all the wood replaced, or could you salvage some of it? Where are you sending your chrome ? The finish looks great on the chrome parts. Great work you did on this. Do you do this for hire, or is this your own vehicle? Great looking shop too. How many hours approx. did this involve? My Grandfather had a 50 Buick car, and worked at a Buick / Olds dealer in Omaha. According to Speedway Motors, in 1958, Buick offered optional aluminum brake drums for all models. They now sell the Buick Style aluminum drums for Ford cars, $300 each.
wow
Name of restoration shop i have a 55 buick roadmaster that needs a complete restoration
Tired , patinated , dilapidated and underfed...but indifferent owners recued it from a junk yard fate... and waved it under a chosen nose..and the rehab begins...
