The revamped Premier SS embodies the elegance of the D'Angelico name in both looks and tone. Featuring custom Supro Bolt Buckers voiced to suit its 15-inch-wide semi-hollow body, the SS offers warm, vivid tone that ranges effortlessly from sweet cleans to hearthy grit. A supremely comfortable neck shape welcomes both new and seasoned players, while a lightweight centerblock keeps feedback at bay and aids in sustain. Additional features include Grover tuners, a Graph Tech nut, and four ebony knobs for tone-tailoring. Now available in Brown Burst, Dark Iced Tea Burst, and Black Flake.

Kurt's return to D angelico. I got to know his work when he used that guitar model in "The next steps" and "Heartcore". Kurt is fantastic!!!
Actually, 'The next step' was done with an Epiphone, either a Sheraton or a Dot. He talked about it in a few interviews

Does the Premier SS come with Gold Plated hardware like this one ????
The Premier SS features Nickel hardware which is very reflective. That may explain its gold appearance in this instance.
