1:14 - Why do you think people think Silver is the son of any of the modern cast if he is from 200 years in the future? Is it exclusively the Dragon Ball Z parallels, or is it that Silver would have inherited Shadow’s ability to live long? It would make much more sense to me if Silver was a grandson or great grandson to anyone in the modern cast, which would mean he could inherit more than just traits from two characters… even if Shadow got with someone like a descendent of Sonic and Amy. Do we even know Silver’s age anyway?

As most people have pointed out, it had a few striking similarities to Fleetway’s version of Super Sonic from Sonic The Comic (Those being the ring styled eyes and fangs). I just wanted to ask if that was your was of referencing the demon side of that version of Sonic, since you are known to have referenced a lot of that kind of stuff.

He seems like the type to enjoy a dog's blind loyalty and eagerness to follow orders, but he also seems like the type to appreciate an independent companion that doesn't need to be constantly ordered around all the time and doesn't need routine walkies. 47:13 - I get the impression that Tangle suffers from claustrophobia, which makes me wonder, how would she have reacted if she had also been locked in cyberspace like Tails, Knuckles and Amy in Sonic Frontiers? If she were locked in one of the capsules and then unable to touch anything in her ghost form? Would she have become friends with the Kocos too? Would she also have deep reflections on herself like the others?
48:53 - He won a recent poll for Sonic Channel art so I'm asking about the one and only Sonicman. How would you go about adapting him as a mainstay character for IDW and/or for the movies?
50:26 - I remember you saying that you had a lot of problems with Tears of the Kingdom's story. Now I won't say it's one of the best narratives in gaming (Or even in Zelda, for that matter), what were your major problems with it? I personally don't think it was that much more egregious than Breath of the Wild's narrative, but feel free to rant.

Tears of the kingdom is a masterful sequel to me. I do not find it as bad as some people think of it now, almost a full year after its release.

5:08 I know we're all just poking fun here and that Ian's just fine, but just in case you read this, Ian, your other original works are enjoyed and appreciated too. I finished reading Klaws#2 last night and have really thoroughly enjoyed both volumes. They're just *fun* from start to finish, and I'm looking forward to whatever else gets added into the mix in the inevitable Klaws#3 down the line.

One thing I have to agree with about in your Zelda rant is that they really should've made the cutscenes unlock in order.
Like they could have even made it so that the geoglyphs don't appear until you've done at least one of the sage quest or talked to Impa with her balloon the first time.

Eggman would find Cortex incredibly annoying. An insufferable, yet cynical and depressed genius whose aspirations keep getting lower. He'd either quickly make Cortex his lackey, or decide to team up with N Tropy instead. Either way, the dynamic between Doc Botnik and Cortex would be amazing!
Yo ian if you could, would you use any ideas from any cancelled sonic games like xtreme, synergy (original idea for boom rise of lyric), and idk... sonic edusoft?

While I do have my own problems with TotK and I do agree with the other stuff Ian said, I have no issue with Ganondorf. Skyward Sword revealed he was the incarnation of that world's Satan's hatred and OoT outright proved the motives he said in Wind Waker were a lie he told himself to justify his takeover. He never did help the Gerudo's situation, just fulfilled Demise's hatred of the gods and men by making their lives as miserable as possible. Even his title reflects what he truly is not a man but the demon king.
A lot of people, myself included, do love that slight bit of humanity that Ganon shows in Wind Waker but that’s only in the English version. In the Japanese script he’s more in-line with the TOK, Ocarina, TP versions
Consider that Wind Waker made him more interesting, a villain lying to themselves that their intentions were good is kinda neat. Meanwhile Skyward Sword made him boring because now he's not even a bad guy because he does bad things, he's just ontologically evil now.

You act like thats a objective fact but actually that depends on what you happen to like, several villains that fit that category are iconic like Castlevanai's Dracula, (game verse at least) Lord of the Ring's Sauron or Star Wars' Palpatine. I have no issue with demons or other evil for evil's sake villains nor do I find the former necessarily more interesting than the latter.
@TheSwordsman100 Idk man, I'm just peeved that nearly everyone celebrates the (alleged) depth of BotW Zelda while simultaneously balking at the idea of Ganondorf being any more complex than "Evil Desert Man".

Well if it helps any, Zelda isn't really doing anything new in TotK either. (apart from the dragon transformation itself) Zelda/Hylia has sacrificed her being before to help save Hyrule and Link. (divinity before SS, sealing herself in crystal in SS proper and to save Midna in TP from the top of my head)
