It stays paired but be careful with the battery. This thing doesn't last long at all so you'll need to pack extra batteries.

After connecting with sony zv-1F... it is connected but nothing works. a solution ?

You may have it locked. Check out this video at 0:53 to see what I mean. When it's locked it stops everything from working normally.

Just had this problem! On the zv-1F u have to go to : Netowork, transfer/remote, Bluetooth rmt ctrl and turn it on :)

I have scouring the Internet for months trying to figure out how to use the PHOTO button on this remote, & every single tutorial SKIPS right over that part. Am I missing something?? Is there a way to use the PHOTO button on the REMOTE to shoot a photo?

Once it's connected and the camera is in photo mode (not video mode) we just have to press the button down halfway to focus and press it all the way to take a photo

If I remember right, the ZV-1 doesn't have a remote control option. Usually it's the cameras with an actual remote control port like the bulkier DSLR cameras.
