    Of the bazillion fitness videos I have seen, this is my favorite. Short, sweet, to the point. Safe, effective, and variety of exercises/muscle groups. Excellent form in everything. Didn't have to sit through "hello my name is and I'm going to ...." Thank you!

    Weight depends on the workout, gender, fitness level, etc. 30kg sandbag is much heavier than 30kg of steel, due to the sand that moves inside the bag. You can get a killer workout with a 15kg sandbag, depends on your goal...

    Great video. My friend sent me your link because I was frustrated with all the other sandbag videos that have long openers, tons of verbage, etc. Yours was exactly what I was looking for. No fluff, clean and demonstrates the exercises nicely. Was wondering if you could make it available for ipad so I can view it with that too?

    Hey Chris. Sure you can use it as a cardio or as a complete strength workout. Sandbag feels much heavier than dbs or bb so 50lbs sandbag could prove as quite a challenge. For cardio finisher 25-30lbs is ok.

    Sandbags aren't cheap as well, depends how you look at it. You can find them at ultimate sandbags from Josh Henkin, the guy who made sandbag training popular. I suggest the strength package($130), you get 2 fillers that you can load up to 40lbs each.

    • @DaliborPetrinic
      @DaliborPetrinic  10 років тому

      Depends on the exercise. For the strength exercises you choose heavier(20-30kg), for core and conditioning exercises lighter(10-15kg).

    • @stevenzak199
      @stevenzak199 9 років тому

      Dalibor Petrinic I was wondering about that too. So you're saying that the most you'd need would be around 60 or 65 pounds or so. I was considering a Slam-'n-bag, which holds up to 60 pounds of sand or steel shot held in easily-removed-or-replaced filler bags, which hold up to 30 pounds each. But I wondered if there wouldn't be some exercises where you'd need more weight than that -- a press, for instance, where it might be useful to use 90 pounds or more. I worried that a 60-pound capacity might not be enough. But if you think 60 or 65 pounds is at the top of the needed range for this type exercise, then that bag would be perfect for me.

    really creative movements. I can't really do half of them because my bag is 80lbs and super floppy and much bigger. Your sandbag looks a bit more solid than mine. Have any bigger sandbags that don't keep their shape that you could do a video with? Or have any suggestions for me? Right now it seems I can only do things with it on my back (lunge, squat, run), I can clean it but it's not easy because it's so floppy.

    • @DaliborPetrinic
      @DaliborPetrinic  8 років тому

      you must buy smaller bag. Check ultimate sandbags they have smaller ones up to 20 and 40lbs. Those will be better fit. There is no point with going too heavy with a sandbag...

    • @DaliborPetrinic

      @@DaliborPetrinic tyvm :). I was just curious as to space within the bag. To me, when the bag has a little flex (or not as stuffed) then the bag becomes a bot more difficult to handle and becomes more dynamic. But then again, I can see how that may be helpful in only certain exercises. Thanks again.
