    can you tell me the length of strength cut for the main and the crosses?

    • @HerbBaird
      @HerbBaird  Місяць тому

      I cannot. I do not measure with a tape measure. I pull string based on arm length

    • @doanhtran
      @doanhtran Місяць тому +1

      @@HerbBaird okay, so how many arm lengths for the main vs the cross?

    • @HerbBaird
      @HerbBaird  Місяць тому +1

      @@doanhtran For me I pull 3 arm lengths plus about 6 inches for the mains, and 3 arm lengths minus about 6 inches for the crosses.

    Por que no hacer el nudo en la primera cuerda horizontal?
    Veo que colova una pinza roja

      Hola disculpa!
      La máquina de encordar electrica!
      Ese botón que tiene para hacer el nudo. Cuánta tensión agrega ?
      Yo tengo una manual. Y en las cuerdas de cierre no quiero que pierda tanta tensión

    would you mind telling me where did you get the tennis racquet holder?

      when I got mine, I believe I got them off Amazon. I have had mine for over 10 years. They are made by Gamma. I have not seen them for sale in the US for several years. You can still purchase them in Europe and have them shipped.

    Is this the same for stringing a 98 Blade v8 16x19 frame???

    • @HerbBaird
      @HerbBaird  11 місяців тому +1

      I think they both start at the head and skip 8 head and throat.

      @@HerbBaird Cool thank you, would be cool if you could do a video of a 16x19... 98inch Blade if one comes through :)

    Stringing a multifilament in the middle of the crosses is a nightmare... Any advice?

    • @HerbBaird
      @HerbBaird  Рік тому

      If you mean multifilament on any racquet, then I can't help. For me, that is the easiest part of the racquet. If you mean this specific racquet because of the small holes. Make sure you snip the end of the string at a sharp angle, leaving a sharp tip. The sharper the tip, the easier it is to get into the holes.

      @@HerbBairdYes, I mean the small holes, the string tends to fray. I'm a rookie stringer, and it was I little bit difficult 😅 Thank you for your help, your a lifesaver.

    Can you elaborate why 7T is a skip? From the stringing instruction it should be 8T/8H to skip. Thank you .

    • @HerbBaird
      @HerbBaird  Рік тому +1

      Can't really elaborate. It's the pattern for this racquet. BLADE 104 v8 50 - 60 20'M - 19'C 16M X 19C 8T - 7,9B copied and pasted straight from klipper. The V6 98 Blade is 8 head and throat.

    What string is that

  • @ViaticalTree
    @ViaticalTree 2 роки тому +2

    Wilson recommends stringing all their racquets one piece. That said, if I played with Wilson racquets I’d probably string them 2 piece just because I prefer to string that way.

      If you go to the Wilson website with their stringing patterns they give instructions for one and two peice stringing.
