yes yes yes penguin is very happy having to deal with 4 to 10x the heat he was born to live In on a daily basis. This poor penguin probably fries on a cold winter day. Yea he’s being cared for but I mean the only place he can feel “comfortable” is that tiny fridge. I used to work in a restaurant with a walk in freezer bigger than that. The dude has no other penguins to chill with he was litterally brought there for nothing more than the entertainment of his captors. It’s cruel. It’s like keeping a tiger or large wild animal as a pet. They don’t like it, and I’m willing to bet the main reason your defending it is because of how bad you’d feel if you fully accepted and understood how depressed and detached these animals

I've seen documentaries with penguins swimming up to the coast of South America yearly, even forming relationships with locals who they then visit every year. Penguins are so lovely
