yeah i like this i swear why gustavo's control phases hit the HARDEST genuinely i like that some vibes of fwb are still there with the mix of this payday's vibe and funnily enough our boy managed to actually make this a song that would make me lock tf in 🔥
Ooooooh, Gustavo exchanged the classic GMG drums rhythm and put part of it in the bass synth rhythm! Interesting idea. Definitely feels like a homage to the old track
Gustavo is really getting better with composing the game's soundtrack. Love how it kept some of Simon's work from PDH & PD2 and added a fresh layer of his own
Although it has similarities, it may also be because "Gun Metal Grey" was Simon's work, and it is out of respect for not using the same name with different years to name this song.
@@ISPanesLocos and still cook off or murky station didnt have tracks named after their past versions, i dont see the issue, with this one not being the case IN PARTICULAR because PDTH? well, still an inconsistency. and besides pressure point sounds a lot better than "gun metal grey" imo, i rather that than have gun metal grey 2039 in "payday 5, overkilling the franchise in 2 months GOTY edition"
Can't lie, although the game is hanging over a void rn, I'm very much hyped for what future may bring. No way such an amazing game/franchise is gonna die... Also, to clarify, yes, I am saying Payday 3 is a good game, but I'm aware it's missing a lot of features and is, virtually, incomplete still. It's a fun time tho, very much so
The hope dies the very last. However, i trust that Almir and Andreas are going to treat this game right and correct the course towards being the community's beloved darling once again. The game is pretty good right now and it will be only better with time, just like fine wine!
@@theprancing Hard truth is I don't think any game COULD live up too payday 2. It just had way too long to serve content. This isn't to diss on either game. But making a sequel to a game that was supported for so long. Shits gonna get cut. It's gonna feel worse in some way.
Not gonna lie, at first it took me some time to get used to it. But the more I listened to it and made the comparisons to the original and newer Gun Metal Grey versions... I like how Gustavo had his creative liberties in this one while still respecting/appreciating the originals. I love this one now.
Ngl I love stealth and control way more than assault, it felt like you’re in a movie robbing an actual bank. Assault is decent at best for me, not bad but also not S tier.
Have no interesting in playing pd3 unless starbreeze can shoe they can put their shit together with the game, but ill still come around for the music Good track, shame gustavo is shackled to such a mismanaged company
To be hobest, track is cool and thx god this is not another one remix of GMG, but... FWB... Again?! What next? All pdth maps in pd3?! Like, it was ok, that pdth maps in pd2 exist, because... These maps looks refreshed, was added rng stuff and full stealth for some map, but pdth maps in pd3... I'm calling this "lack of ideas" and just "flirting" with nostalgia... Like, pd2 maps in pd3 was good idea, because for pd3 - pd2 is classic, for pd2 - pdth is classic... But, as much as i don't like what's going on in the game, while gustavo is working in Starbreeze, i can say with confidence that the music will be always awesome
oh yeah, how could i forget, FWB without OVERDRILL is fucking not FWB... no matter how much shit is poured on me and my opinion, I don't care, this is MY PERSONAL opinion and perception, and I will not change it :)
@@indigo7220, because if think about it logically, pdth is a classic for the game universe, I do not deny it. But my only disappointment is that in essence, adding this card plays on the feeling of nostalgia in people, as in principle it was in the pd2... but in pd2 I can see the original design of the map, and at the same time with rng improvements and with the full stealth passability of the map. Same was with Diamond Heist and No Mercy. In pd3, cool redesign, but feels like different bank building, for me peronally... if the name of the map was different, I wouldn't stink so much with MY OPINION and would just accept the fact that this map looks like FWB. In general, my personal problem with the map is nostalgia, which does not give a normal assessment of the map. PD3 FWB looks beautifull and like "After those explosions of the walls between the corridor and the toilet, they decided to completely rebuild the building", thats how feels like.
To the suits: this game must be allowed to carry on existing so that Gustavo Coutinho can make more tunes.

Gustavo is holding the kitchen ! Let him cook !
7:24 Didn’t realize how much the melody was kept in (through different instruments) until I heard it outside of the game

Listening to this while downloading the update, cant believe that a level such as FWB (my entry to the payday franchise) can be so nostalgic again
Kinda weird that they didn’t call it “Gun Metal Grey 2024”
The assault track is too different in comparison to original GMG and GMG 2015. So it kind of doesn't deserve to be called GMG 2024.
Although it has similarities, it may also be because "Gun Metal Grey" was Simon's work, and it is out of respect for not using the same name with different years to name this song.

@godofbeans1 This is a perfect description. PD3 isnt a bad game, it just couldn't live up to PD2.

OMG aggressive track as road rage and bib, so foakin good🎉
10:05 goes so damn hard
dang this sound exactly like gun metal grey
Everybody on the fucking ground
I like the soundtrack but the control sounds kinda calm and stealthy
Guys, I know you miss Simon Viklund, I miss him too. But give Gustavo a chance. He`s also Fire and he`s cooking as you can see.
Your vid description cracked me up 🤣
far more gritty than the other tracks, stands out pretty well
ALREADY?!
Waaaayyy better than 2015 version. W Gustavo absolute goat He really made Stealth version 3 times better
GUSTAVO 🔥🤌
