The best recipe that can be made from Whacka's Bump in the first game can also be made, via alternative means, through completely free items (gathered from respawning shy guys in Shy Guy's Toy Box, or from infinitely respawning sources, like the Koopa Leaf bush in Koopa Village). It's just cruelty in the first game.

(Spoilers ahead, you've been warned) The thing about stealing in Link's awakening is that if your goal is to get the best ending, you cant get deafeted/killed by ANYTHING. So stealing from the shop may seem like a fun thing to do, (plus in the gameboy version you get a picture by taking something), but doing so comes with a hefty penalty. First everyone on the island will call you THIEF instead of your name, and the next time you enter the shop, the owner will kill you. FYI. Great video BTW 😎
The DX version (as opposed to the original) of Link's Awakening is the one with the camera guy, because the photos could be printed with the Gameboy Printer accessory that could connect to the older Gameboys and generally worked in tandem with the Gameboy Camera accessory that let you take pictures. I remember the old commercial, the jingle of which was a spoof of the "Candid Camera" show theme.
If you hold A without facing them and a couple paces away and then release A when you are in their personal bubble, you can whack them (not that you would want to do that or anything...)

It’s so bizarrely brutal! 😂 Bonus: In Tokyo Mirage Sessions you can actively choose to be a complete smartass to your friends in some dialogue options. (Though this results in not being able to get all of the duo attacks. The smartass options and subsequent responses to them are pretty funny though.)

On the topic of Pokemon, I ALWAYS sass the "villain team" of the month because some of their reactions are just priceless. Team Skull's my personal favourite where they ask if you recognize them and you answer "no", they assume it's because they weren't standing in the same place they were when you first met them.

Jumping off of Yoshi to make the secret exit in Cheese Bridge - Super Mario World is one that always bothered me.
So many SMW ROM hacks require Yoshi jumps, it's sort of a meme.

In Fire Emblem you can kill a couple of NPCs or refuse to save them.

In Fates you can choose to spare Shura’s life resulting in him joining your party or you can let him die via execution and be rewarded in doing so with his boots (which is actually a consumable).

Bonus: In Tokyo Mirage Sessions you can actively choose to be a complete smartass to your friends in some dialogue options. (Though this results in not being able to get all of the duo attacks. The smartass options and subsequent responses to them are pretty funny though.)

I think in link's awakening you can continue to steal items after the first lightning shock. The shopkeeper will shock you everytime you steal, but after restarting the items will change like normal and you can steal the next thing
