If I have $100k to spend, I'm buying land!
Land cruiser!!
Lol, can't buy much for 100k anymore 🤣
Land rover, land cruiser, or highLander?😊
If you had $100k to spend on a car, you'd already have multi-millions worth of property
This comment didn’t age well lol.
We have to understand that if they put the same features in the Yukon, people would buy the Yukon instead. They have the same frame and platforms as well. only defference is the interior design.
The esclade is on another level
The comparison videos you guys make are the best! Always enjoy watching these
Thanks
Congrats guys on getting to 300k subscribers! My best wishes for even more success - you two run the best auto review channel on UA-cam! 👍👍
Great comparison on these two. I would rather pick the Escalade because of how beautiful it is.
👍🏽✔️

Me tooooo
Yukon looks better this Generation
I’m choosing the Escalade because it’s my dream suv and Mercedes Benz s class is my dream car
Yep same here. Escalade and S class is all is you need
Great review👏👏👏...but (possibly) would have been better to play the Same Song for audio comparison. I would be like an audio "dual screen". ☺ Love UR Channel!
Denali all day for me 🔥
Exactly the video I needed. Much more than that. Super job!!
Thank you! Glad it was helpful 👍
Nice comparison. I think you should definitely compare the upcoming Yukon Denali Ultimate trim to this Escalade when it comes out later this year. I think the comparison will be very close. Based on some of the features GMC has listed it is basically an Escalade with GMC badging.
Thanks for the informative video
Escalade for sure! Ordered one this week and hopefully get it sooner or later. Thanks for the review!
How do you like it?
Great review. I've been looking for this comparison for a while. You made me a little uncomfortable feelin the dash but good video. 😉
This was a great comparison guys. Both gorgeous full size SUVs. Please do a night time comparison of these two!
I have a 2022 denali and was terrified this video was going to give me buyers remorse. Still happy with the denali :)
I personally like the denali better
Have you ever test drove the X7?
@@Jworkjether09 yes, it is significantly smaller on the inside than the Denali.
@@stevengarman9112 True...the size is the only reason why I'm struggling to decide...I test drove the Escalade and was deeply sadden by its performance compared to the X7...I felt like I had more control when driving the X7...does the GMC drive better than the Caddy?
Denali man!! Hey what do you for living
Thanks for the video. I’m looking at both right now and the air ride seems to be the pivot. For 20k difference I can put a whipple charger on the denali and get 600 hp. But that face on the caddy is amazing
Hahahahaha what 😅😅😅😅😅
Both the Yukon Denali and Cadillac Escalade are great looking vehicles. If I had to choose I'd pick the Denali.
I’ll still choose the Yukon Denali just for those Fog Lamps.
The lighting on the GMC just looks more premium to me. The headlamp cluster LEDs are 3 level and the turn signals just seem more premium with the switchbacks.
@@hellkitty1014 the turn signal on the Escalade is also a switchback with the DRL
@@stefanb.5154 yes, but the GMCs just look better, IMO.
@@hellkitty1014 I was about to comment the same thing regarding the headlights. Strange that they gave the Yukon stacked headlights which the Escalade was known for and gave this new generation Escalade bland one low beam headlights. I definitely prefer my 2019 headlights on my Escalade. They look more futuristic than the 2021 and newer Escalades. Also don’t like how this new generation Escalade doesn’t have led front lower turn signal lights that would illuminate the corners when turning. Those are actually helpful especially in dark lit areas. What’s strange is the Cadillac XT6 offers the led front turn signal lights but this new Escalade doesn’t.
Great remark. The Yukon can do the same thing if not better for less than the Escalade.
My dream car is a high-end Cadillac, durable, huge, elegant
Nice comparison!😸
I drive a Hennessy Escalade now, but cannot justify the price gap between the two going forward. My next SUV will be the Denali.
Denali!!! Great video - Thank you
Hey guys - good review! I'm trying to decide right now. You said the Escalade had a smaller cargo area, but aren't they practically the exact same? If no, what is the difference? I've looked close at both and it looks the same to me.
I think it's the subwoofer that takes up some space in the Escalade. Thanks!
I like both suv's but I have to say this was not a fare comparison but I get it 👌😉
Living here in Florida in a planned, golf cart friendly community, I would buy the Yukon, a nice golf cart and a trailer for the cost of the Escalade.
I'll go for the Escalade Sport Platinum. Go big
Escalade has its own charm.
Young man, 😂 your young age is showing. I’m 39. Lincoln just called and said take back that statement about GM creating the large 3 row luxury SUV segment. Lincoln’s Navigator came out in 1997 as a new for 1998 model. Ford’s Expedition was new for 1997 and it was available in Eddie Bauer trim but I guess that would be more “premium” than full luxury. Anyhow, GM/Cadillac saw how instantly successful and popular the Navigator was so they slapped a Cadillac emblem (without much any change) on the Yukon Denali and called it Escalade for 1999. That was Cadillac’s first entry. Cadillac’s Escalade continued with only TWO ROWS for 1999 and 2000. They skipped the 2001 year and the next all new Escalade debuted for the 2002 year. 2002 was the FIRST year Escalade had three rows. Navigator had three rows since 1998. So no, they didn’t invent the segment at all! Just thought I’d drop that nugget off to you. I love this channel, by the way. It’s awesome to see how much it’s grown over the years. I been with you since before you had 5K! Keep up the awesome job! Much love from Chicago!
I have the 22 Denali. Luv it
How is resale/residual value on both?
Like the smile meter !
I rather go with Cadillac escalade any day 😎
You should mention with super cruise even though you're spending around 20k to have that option available, you don't fully own the tech. After 3 years, it goes into a monthly subscription service and if you don't do that, the super cruise is disabled.
Really? Even if you buy that option for almost 3k? ☠️
@@M0NSTERDj ya sucks man, even though that option is $2500, to even have it become available you spend around 20k as I mentioned. You see what BMW and Mercedes is doing with paid subscriptions to unlock full features on a vehicle you purchased, I hate where things are headed in the car industry if this trend continues..
We need to compare between Escalade and Lexus LX600 . Thank you 😊.
People are less price sensitive over 80k but I still think 20k matters even to wealthy people. The Escalade would obviously be the pick for someone who doesn’t care about 20k.
I would pick the Cadillac Escalade!
can you do a comparison of the Yukon ultimate and escalade sport platinum
I got the Escalade ESV Premium Platinumn. All the bells and whistles (except the Brake package, that I wanted $$$, but wasn't available). I don't LOVE this truck, it is very nice, but I would prefer the Denali and two really nice vacation for the family.
21 Escalade. No issues. Since dec. 2020.
The Yukon denali in black color Black rims the best look❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Ooh. Couple days before the Denali Ultimate. Tough choice
Hi Can Confections I Would Love To See a Comparison Between The 2022 Hyundai Tucson Limited! And The 2023 Kia Sportage X Line Limited
I save the 27K and go with the Denali. But of course, I owned a 2015 Denali. But since the Escalade going to have a super charger in the 2023 model. I would go with the new Escalade V at 682 hp in 2023. Power is money...
The Escalade is more refined but it fails on a few practical things. I prefer side side cup holders not parallel cup holders up front (surprisingly important because this is used a lot). Also the shifter on the Escalade will clutter up that front area. The extra cargo space on the Yukon is also very useful for people in this segment. The Escalade is impressive looking but most families will jump at the Yukon. The ESV Cadillac is a little more comparable on size but still would have its few flaws.
In retrospect, a Tahoe vs Yukon would be more interesting. We know Caddy separates luxury from the GMC & Chevy. But how much a difference is there between a loaded Tahoe & a loaded Yukon? Or a loaded Traverse vs an Enclave? Nevertheless, good comparison!!
Anyone else noticed that these with up around $5k+ since the last video they made a year ago both being fully loaded.
Escalade is more exclusive....elegant ...😊😊
DENALI FOR ME!!
The escalade I would choose no matter the price.
why they made them smaller but price whent up?
This comparo just validated that the Yukon is the better/smarter buy. It has about 90% of what the Caddy offers. I could live without massaging seats and Night Vision, though Super Cruise will likely be on offer for the refresh of the GMC. Sure, the screens on the Cadillac are nice, but I like the design and space utilization of the GMC better. And Cadillac loves the old school glossy wood, so its a pass for me.
It just boggles the mind that Cadillac doesn't offer ventilated rear seats/rear sunshades/4 zone climate in a $100K+ flagship.
I'm sure the gmc screens and chevy will be updated in refresh maybe like the new 17" screens on the ev chevy who knows super cruise is now offered on gmc trucks and chevy and it is coming to the new ev blazer and Equinox I'm sure it will be offered on chevy full size suv and gmc full size
Might I also add no center console option for the middle row and lack of power reclining third row. I have a 2019 Escalade but was disappointed that the new generation doesn’t offer any of this which is surprising as I was really hoping this new generation would definitely offer a center row console.
@@Nathan-fm1mu I thought that was weird as well. The Grand Wagoneer and Navigator both offer consoles and/or the option for a bench. It is such an odd admission for the Cadillac, which usually the vehicle of fleet for shuttling passengers that would desire that option.
And also how come the escalade and suburban and Tahoe and Yukon And escalade esv and Yukon Xl Can't include ventilated seats on the top Trims Hyundai has it even Kia How come GM cannot give it to the back seat passengers Also the jeeps have it I'm not talking about the 100 K ones I'm talking about the top trim 65K ones the jeep grand cherokee I'm not talking about the grand Wagoneer
@@NY_Adventures the fans of the Escalade often scoff at the idea of potential buyers being upset that there are no ventilated rear seats. It is a huge miss. Kia has it. Jeep offers it on a $60K GC. I don't get it.
I would get the Escalade. I took a long hard look at the 2023 Yukon and it looks too much the Escalade. Well actually the Ultimate version is its identical twin. The only feature that tells the apart is Cadillac's OLED display. However the V is tremendous because of the 682 horse power engine.
Hey..the V is a WHOLE other vehicle! There's no comparison thus far.
But the 2022's is a personal choice. The GMC is awesome! The Escalade ROCKS your pants off! 😄
I have a 2022 Platinum Sport..she is SO sweet. I'm in ❤️ Love.
I'm taking the Denali it looks more manly and it comes with better futuries than the Escalade at base value price
I would rather have the escalade because not only it is beautiful but because the luxury and comfort and how reliable it is
My choice is 2023 Yukon Denali Ultimate , having the 3.0 Diesel with incredible mileage on a tank of fuel over 600 miles . Led fog lights , just naming a few things that made my decision to buy .
Baby max 😂😂😂
I just hate that GM is charging more money and won’t upgrade the engine. It should at least have 500 horsepower and 550 torque in these land yachts.
The thing that keeps me from buying either is the reliability issue. I had a bad experience with my 2018 Escalade which I was lucky to dump for a VERY favorable price when used cars were at a high point. However It was replaced by a Lexus GX 460. Having said that I miss my Escalade everyday!!! I'm looking at maybe the new 2024 Denali Ultimate vs the Escalade, it's just that damn style of the Escalade is SOOOOOOO appealing to me. I guess I may get the Escalade, but I guarantee that if I do I will definitely get an extended platinum warranty. If you wonder why, well I'll tell you the Escalade beats any full size SUV out there in beauty ( my taste ) but NOT reliability! Just read the Escalade forums if you want to convince yourselves. The Lexus LX 600 is the largest Lexus SUV, similar in price but not in space. I think the finish of the Lexus might be better but it lacks the tech and the beauty. No V8 in the Lexus great V8 in the cadi If you can afford one you can afford the other. Can't compare to Lincoln either since they dumped their V 8. The other bad thing is the dealer market adjustments or rip off features, I won't buy as long as they keep doing that. There's a dealer in NC that doesn't do that buy they do add a bunch of "dealer installed option" if you can negotiate those out you might get close to a decent price.
Do a comparison of all three The Esclade, Yukon Denali and Chevy Suburban with the Duramax Diesel Engine
Superb comparison. I choose the Escalade
It’s the Escalade all the way!
Shumë bukur Allahu jua shtoftë Mallin dhe begatinë
wow good
Interesting that (in regards to sound inside the cars) In your video, the Escalade sounded much quieter than the Yukon, however your DB says otherwise.
I had the same impression. Must be the sound frequncy
Yukon is loud inside.
Interesting facts:
Per Kelly Blue Book, as at Feb 2023,
The average price of a new Cadillac sold is $67k;
The average price of a new GMC sold is $64k.
As far as actually transaction pricing goes, the two brands literally go toe to toe these days.
With the upcoming GMC Hummer joining the lineup, expect the average selling price of those 2 brand to virtually tie.
GM has been branding GMC as a professional premium version of Chevy, and Cadillac as a sports handling focused luxury car. They are now overlapping each other as pricing goes.
Do you have a video lining up the Escalade V against the other Escalades?
We do not. But Cadillac changes almost nothing except the engine for the V
@@CarConfections gotcha. Hey I see a lot of reviews for the Escalade V. More than I have seen for any other car. How can I do a review?
i love both trucks but the escalade is on another level..
My toxic trait is watching this video as if I'm going out to buy either of these this weekend.
hahahhaa we review them like we're buying them that day
You got to take into consideration - INSURANCE. Escalade will be much more to insure. Also, I would rather be seen in the Yukon Denali. Too much "look at me" attention I would not like in the Escalade.
I’m in the market for the Yukon XL now. The prices are insane and the availability is next to nonexistent. Buying a pink unicorn is easier let me tell ya. I’m getting discouraged 🤧
We ordered a Denali Yukon xl in November and 9 months later they haven't even started building it. Not sure how GMC is still operating. We had no confidence in their company anymore and found a Jeep wagoneer we really liked. On the lot and no wait.
The odd thing about this situation is that when I went to physically get mine they had only one that was already sold($92,000) and they were not taking orders. Fast forward to 3 weeks ago the sales lady I was dealing with called me saying they had four available of different kinds and yet the people that ordered 6+ months ago don’t even have a Vin number. I have a feeling that those that got a good deal are not going to receive their order anytime soon since the factory is focusing on making units that will be going to the dealerships that they know will sell with the $10-20,000 mark up that they have. It’s a game of who gives the highest bid.
If I had a 100k to spend on a car, it wouldn't be any of these...
QX 60 vs LX please!
Hmmm. Lemme see if I can guess this one. Which one is going to score higher in luxury? The $87k SUV or the $113k SUV. DAMN this is so hard. Dude, doing a comparo is great. It’s actually why I watched. To understand what an extra $25k gets you. We didn’t need the scoring this time around. Save that for vehicles where the outcome is truly unknown.
caddilac front and th yukon backwill be the best SUV ever made
Escalade ext color?
If they cost the same, which one would you pick?
Probably Yukon just based on design preference
I need the Escalade with the GMC grill!
Why lol
I just wanted to leave a quick shocking fact for everyone:
You can get massaging front seats, cooled and heated second row seats, and heated third row seats on a Hyundai Palisade. Oh, and it even has the rear view mirror camera, blind spot cameras in the gauge cluster, and over 24” of infotainment screens. (More than the Denali) For under $50k. Meanwhile, this $100k+ Escalade doesn’t have cooled second row or heated third row. We’re living in some crazy times when a Hyundai can one-up an Escalade on some features. Kudos to the Korean brands for offering unparalleled value, and their unbeatable 10yr warranty and free maintenance. This video just proved why I’ll be sticking with the Korean brands.
But you completely left out the Cadillac and Yukon both are way more powerful. Give you more room. Tow a mountain more stuff and offer way more userbility. Both GM twins are far exceeding in capability and durability when driven correctly. And the diesel options give better furl range than your Korean toy. So it's a reason Hyuandai isn't even in this Full size Luxury conversation
We bought my wife a Palisade Calligraphy last year. It is a great vehicle. The features it offers for the money is unparalleled. People scoff at the Hyundai brand, but they offer the best warranty in the industry. This is my wife's second Hyundai-she had a 2007 Sonata that we didn't have in the shop one time for anything outside of normal maintenance. So, I've got nothing but praise for them. I on the other hand, owned a 17 Yukon Denali. After six months of ownership and six unscheduled shop visits, for some major issues, I got rid of it. It was an $80+K piece of junk and it soured me on GM products to this day.
@@MrSupersaiyangoku I'd say the Palisade is easily as luxurious as the Denali. The GM trucks are definitely wider, but the space behind the third row is comparable between all of them. Hyundai definitely doesn't have the power of the GM trucks, that's for sure, but I'd have to disagree with you on durability. The GM SUV's are currently at the top of the list of least reliable vehicles on the market right now according to Consumer Reports. " In conclusion, GM trucks and SUVs are the least reliable 2022 models. The Yukon, Tahoe, Suburban, Sierra 1500, and Silverado 1500 all have many major, expensive problems. The frequency at which these problems occur may vary, but they always happen more than other brands. If you’re looking for a truck or SUV to drive for a long time, it might be best to avoid GM vehicles." -Consumer Reports
To call the Hyundai a toy is a bit short sighted. The Palisade is a well built product with a spectacular warranty. So far, after a year of ownership, ours has been flawless and most importantly...my wife loves it. Is it as capable as the two in this video? Absolutely not. Can you buy two Palisades for the cost of the Cadillac? Yes. Do the GM SUV's offer twice the capability, twice the luxury, or twice the quality in materials/build quality of the Palisade? Absolutely not.
No one cares about some Hyundai that will catch on fire. No thanks. I like a big real truck of an SUV that will protect me and my family.
@@Tonyr0206 I have mad love for Genesis but I'm not comparing the Yukon Denali or Escalade to a Telluride. Even Kia would not be so bold. Love the car all you want. But they didn't charge six figures cause it's not worth that much
I would like to see the Escalade vs the new Range Rover
Range Rover wins
That Escalade is laughably not in the same league of the new Range Rover.
@@hellkitty1014 No the Jeep is laughably not in the same league of a Range Rover. The local dealership has a Cadillac Escalade ESV selling for $175,000 and it’s a not a V-series. That’s certainly in the Range Rover’s league. _And_ outselling the Range Rover too. How about that Grand wagon from Jeep?
@@mybro727 A fool and their money shall always depart.
someone needs to compare the Yukon Denali Ultimate to the Escalade V
Cadillacs are made by GMC, there are only a few differences between these two suvs, one has more make up than the other, they are pretty much the same, what better way to earn more money than to trick people into buying something they think is different but is actually the same😂😂
Yukon all the way.!!!!
Don't forget that the dealerships won't let them go for less than 30k over MSRP. I know this because my dealership sells them for 130 to 140k
escalade definitely
I’d rather have the Denali. Escalade is overrated. But I’ll give them credit, they did a much better job in the interior this time around with the new Escalade.
Same SUV, I will just buy the GMC
Cadillac And GMC
if you buy these luxurious suvs.. you wont look at the price diff, since assuming your rich.. its more on the feel.. yukon is a bit classic here.. escalade is more on futuristic feel.. so it depends on the taste.. the importsnt part here is both ride feel is awesome, that air suspension is a big difference..
makes me wonder how does the massage chair work here.. that mean thru time, the cushioning might be a problem.. assuming this is similar to those expensive nassage chairs, that becomes hard after couple of years and ysed almost everyday
The ride, driving characteristics and handling in both vehicles would be different IF both were fully loaded with passengers and luggage. Someone should do a long distance drive in both vehicles fully loaded. See how passengers and drivers comfort is after an hour or so, get an actual mpg reading then and see how borh vehicles handle long distance fully loaded long distance.
I love my denali exterior better but escalade interior better
Ça existe en diesel ?
Get the denali
Gonna save the 100k and keep my rav 4 for another 100k miles
👍👍👍👍👍
Eye watering 😂
The 7 point attributed to the Denali for value is too much. The Escalade is in a class of its own. Or how else would GM differentiate them plus the Suburban and Tahoe lines. I have a '18 Tahoe and looking to upgrade but I'm torn between the Escalade and Denali. More reviews to go.
Might as well get a durrango hellcats for those prices🥴 the designs are nice tho
good luck finding one
The exterior Escalade.. The interior the Grand Wagoneer 😂
What’s a Hyundai?
When your buying used Escalade is the way
This is not fair comparison
Should consider
Escalade vs Lincoln navigator vs Jeep Grand wagoneer
And
Yukon vs tahoe vs explorer
