Today we come to you with an unboxing video of our new speaker VIO X15 of Italian manufacturer db Technologies. This is a professional active 2-way speaker, and today we’ll see what’s in the box, general specs, build quality and who is this speaker for.

VIO X15 cabinet serve impressively as a standalone PA system that can be stacked, flown or wall-mounted, as a fill for VIO 208/210/212 systems, full range combined with Sub VIO S118, delay, stage monitor.
This speaker is powered by on board Digipro G3 900 W RMS providing majestic sound pressure levels in compact size and very limited weight.
This speaker provides advanced sound processing featuring Linear Phase FIR Filters and neodymium components that deliver an extremely coherent audio performance, standing out for its intelligibility and clarity from every listening position.
The first thing we notice is that the cooling system is silent and does not require a fan cooling. The system is controlled by a dedicated powerful DSP.
Balanced XLR input with an audio input sensitivity switch where we can choose mic or line if the signal is sent from a mixer, from another speaker or from the microphone. Output link is used to send signal to other speakers by creating daisy-chain configurations.
Input sensitivity Allows adjusting the attenuation of the speaker using the input volume in dB.
RDNet inputs for network linking are compatible with network cables with etherCON/RJ45
Connectors where, "Data in" must be connected to devices such as RDNet Control 2 or Control 8; "Data Out" is used to link the network to additional loudspeakers in daisy-chain configuration in AuroraNET software.
Next to them are LED indicators that show us if there’s an active connection, if there’s traffic to the connection, and Remote Preset Active when the configuration is taken over by the RDNet ports.
The preset controls that can be directly selected are the following ones: Fullrange, HPF (80, 85, 90, 100, 110) and wedge.
Status Leds show us the speaker’s state of power, signal and maximum volume.
The Service Data USB Port’s only use is to upgrade the loudspeaker’s firmware.
In the power distribution section, we have the Mains Input which is compatible with PowerCon True1 cable that comes in the box and it provides full range function where it automatically recognizes the voltage within the range [100-120V~] or [220-240V~].
The Mains Link is also compatible to PowerCon True1 and it distributes power to other speakers, and we can find in the manual how many other speakers are supported by this port.
What else can we say about this speaker other than: this speaker is a very professional and quality speaker, built to resist time and any environment? Db VIO X15 is the loudspeaker you’ve been looking for. The practical way of configuration through RDNet and AuroraNet software, which you can download for free in the db Technologies website, is the best and most contemporary way of configuring a sound system and Db Technologies and VIO X15 provides all of that.
