Will this work with my Tmobile 5G home internet gateway G4AR cause wifi on the built-in modem doesnt reach very far to tv in other room it a vizio smart tv has wifi 6 and my tv has wifi 5 i have XboxSeries S sometimes wont connect to Tmobile wifi
Hello! Please, do you still own this router? If yes, please, is in LAN cofiguration option "link aggregation"? I saw some articles on the internet and informations about this feature are different, I don't know where the truth is. Many thanks.
I have this....the firmware is basically a beta after 3 updates, many dont work. So many bugs. Also 2.4ghz with no wi-fi6 devices almost nonfunctional.
This thing needs to hit the shelves so I can replace my old failing AC1750 and be future-proofed (until they decide to introduce WiFi 8). Any idea of when it is supposed to be available to purchase?
Change ur internet first . That speed is wifi 5 speed. I hit 2Gbps on wifi 6, which is my max internet speed. Also, this router doesn't support 6ghz. it's wifi 7 protocol, but. Not WiFi 7 bandwidth.
2:55 buy CAT 8 for get all the benefits .... just saying , cat 6 not the best anymore . 11:05 ... my old router with AC standard (wifi5 is doing 510 download and 530 upload) ... not impressed at all does not reach the speeds of AX ( WIFI 6 ) ... WIERD ... (Update: this router does not have the 6GHZ channel , it only has 2.4GHZ and 5GHZ channels and this explains a lot plus its not standard compliant wifi7 its only wifi7 ready and that means its a wifi7 in name only ) THANK YOU ! --> FOR YOUR REVIEW ON THIS TECH AND YOUR TESTING IS MUCH APRECIATED
Cat5E is more than enough unless you are aiming for 105Metres+ of cabling (not likely in a domestic setup) or 10GbE over a decent distance (non-domestic). 2.5GbE works fine on existing cat5E networks, and same standards for signal retention.
Oh my God are you serious? A router does not magically give you internet it merely distributes the internet that you have coming into your building. You still have to pay for a modem and a connection. Think of it like you. Pay for water service to your house and you have a hose. The router is like hooking up a sprinkler to the hose. Does that make sense?
@microaggressions thats not what he meant , alot of routers you have to pay for the features once you are on there , so Holm Homeshield with added function is a paid service within the router
@@LivinginHongkong1 only if people are uninformed, most isps will give you a modem router combination in one and every single one of them you can tell them no thanks. Go ahead and turn off the router function. I've got my own. You can literally buy a router for like $30. That will perform better than the one that they give you bundled with their modems
I just bought this and the thing you missed is its only dual band The big advantage of WiFi 7 is 6Ghz, and it doesn't have it 🤡 It doesn't support 6Ghz, it's barely WiFi 7, it's a bit of a scam to be honest, I'm returning it.
just to answear your question because i was getting nasty on this subject but from my research seams that wifi7 states that it can combine automaticly diferent channels in constant usage so it can combine 2.4ghz and 5ghz for one connection for better speeds/connection and that makes it wifi7 and the 6ghz its actually wifi6 Wifi7 is the ability to combine wifi 4 5 6 in one data stream In other words lots of people will get the middle finger with this marketing scam of wifi7 if they dont have the 6ghz channel (only can imagine a huge table of lowyers around a table laughing about how they will screw the coustomers and make lots of $$$)
I think the presenter did mention the two bands. Not confusing or misleading at all. 6 GHz not supported by the device, and not available in the Philippines....
Thanks for having me ✨🧡
No 6GHz on this router. So i guess its not an upgrade over WiFi 6 Routers.
Fun fact, cat5e which is widely used, supports 2.5Gb
CAT8 Ist best
Yeah it DOESN'T have 6Ghz though... it's Dual-Band not Tri-Band
lol yeah pretty funny
Yeah but find me another router under $100 that offers two 2.5 Gbe ports. It's a great option for using in bridge mode and adding your own APs
Are you sure it doesn't support ax? Says in Australia it does.

I saw that there's a USB port there, is it possible to connect an HDD to it and use it as a personal cloud storage?
That's what the website says you can do.
Yes
Thanks for vid, Will router work with devices with older wifi and ethernet hardware ie backwards compatible?
Yup it does as long it supports 2.4ghz and 5ghz bands
thanks for reviewing

I know it does not support this, but you can ask TP-Link directly.
The funny thing is the ax72 ax5400 is cheaper and performs better than be3600/be230.
Is this router good for rural areas? or does it depend on the internet proivder in the area to have a good connection in rural area?
Depends on the provider, router doesn't do anything unless it has the source speed to output.
Great job on not talking about the USB port.
Güzel ve samimi bir inceleme olmuş eline sağlık ..
Hello, is this compatible to Huawei AX3 quad-core (Wifi-6+) easy mesh? well, it is still AC/AX/BE, I'm not sure cross-brand-mesh is possible.
easy mesh devices are cross compatible, it's a nice STANDARD they are pushing for
@@klansimpson thanks CJ!
Cool gonna buy today...
Is the range better than 5/6/6E routers?
yes

Good on with wi-fi6/7 devices. On non wi-fi6/7 is a total trash plus disconecting.

Device with a 6Ghz band costs at least 100$ more than this
