Hope I can use the new MAS with my MISTer. - I do wish the PCB cases had a thick rubber bumper that could be attached around the edge - bit like a tire wheel, but attaches like a tupperware lid.

Great news. This channel has mostly been hardware content which has been great and helped me learn about arcade sticks, but software content (the games) will be the whole package and help with learning new games.

I heard your interview on kpb and looked for this. It's beautiful but I have to admit I don't really understand what it would do if I bought this. I connect it to a monitor and controller? I feel bad to ask but it the shortest path to learning what you're offering here lol, and it's so beautiful I just have to know.

What we make is the case for the actual arcade game pcb. Traditionally these were always mounted bare on the inside of arcade cabs. However, if you own or buy a supergun it allows you to play these arcade pcb games outside of arcade cabs. This is where buying a case is super useful as the game pcbs are very fragile and expensive. First thing you need to buy is a supergun...and to start out I suggest the "minigun". After that you need to buy your first arcade game pcb. Assuming we carry them, you can purchase a case for that specific game board.

I think people would by custom arcade stick top panels. Many sticks come with Vewlix only layouts too and many sticks could be converted to Noir, Astro City, Neo Geo layouts
I certainly plan on it. Especially for the retro stuff
@@ScanlineCity i would personally definately buy a thicker than usual custom aluminium panels (or a 2 layer like Arcade Shock Fighting Edge panels so there's a steel layer on the bottom where all connection and the mounting plates are attached)
For a VLX Premium:
- 7 button Vewlix layout
- 6 button Noir layout
- 6 button Astro City Layout
For Hori Fighting Edge
- 4 button Noir Layout
- 6 button Astro City layout
If they would also accept Seimitsu SS mounting plates like the Fighting Edge, because now the VLX is only with a JLF type and an LS-32 sits too low.
I might be a rare customer in the sense that i can deal with 4 button and 6 buttons layouts because i'm more game specific and i have drilled holes and installed buttons in the cord compartment that i can access the extra buttons if they are needed navigating menus or something. Other people might want 8 button layouts.
I had custom thicker steel panels made and powder coated for both of my VLX. I have 6 button Vewlix layouts but now i would like it to have 7 buttons like the real cabinet and get separate astro city or Taito Egret 2 layouts with 6 button layouts.
I'm happy with mine but the powder coating is not as durable against tiny scratches that seem to appear out of nothing and i just drilled through the panel to attach it so i don't even have a mounting bracket on it.

@@ScanlineCity Oh, just thought of this since I installed one on my board, but there's a Namco System 1 stereo board by Everten that mounts on the top of the board. If you do end up making a case for that board, it might be a good idea to have an option to accommodate it, since it mounts on the top of the boardset.

Hi, I only own 2 arcade PCBs, Raiden and SF2. I would love to see Cases for these PCBs. Also an arcade style case for the mister or mister + mistercade would be nice too.

Video looks good which is why you have the likes on this vid but for an actual buyer the price, what for? PCB's in a cab won't be seen. You marketing PCBs on a shelf? I still can't find a reason to buy your product. Most of the idiots posting on here do not own an arcade machine or PCB for that matter.
I can only speak for myself.... so for me personally, it's all about giving the most love to the game you loved enough to get the arcade PCB for in the first place. Yes, these cases are more expensive than the already expensive Uline PCB storage boxes, but for people like myself with only a supergun and a modest collection of arcade PCBs, having the PCBs protected and ready to play means I'll probably be playing them more.
I know I'd be playing my Pac-Man board a _lot_ more if I had it in some kind of case like I have with my CPS1 boards. As it is, I need to dig out some box which is in between a lot of other stuff, unwrap a fair bit of anti-static bubble wrap, clear enough space for that _large_ arcade PCB, and get my old Ikea board that I have laying around just to put arcade PCBs on. And I still have to attach my Pac-Man JAMMA converter, because when it's attached, the PCB is just long enough that it wouldn't fit in the box. Setting up a game of Pac-Man without that ritual would be sweet, and hey, it's Pac-Man, it deserves respect.

@@ScanlineCity Thank you so much. I hope you can accommodate the various Pac-Man multis out there, or at least the one from High Score Saves. As it is, those daughterboards, including the original Ms Pac-Man daughterboard, are just sort of lying around unsecured. I got sticky PCB feet, but when we're this far into it, maybe not the best...
