These guys came from Montgomery, Alabama. My hometown. They started as 41Down. After I graduated they made it really big in 2002. It brings back so many memories when they were up and coming. Good times
Josh Moates Josh, just wanted to say I was, and still am a huge fan of your music. I know you have moved on to other ventures, and just wanted to say there was always something so relaxing coming home from work and putting in this CD. This was always one of my favorite songs on album. Checked out your website and see you are a photographer now. Very cool! That runs in my family. You should check out my Aunt's stuff if you have time. She is a pioneer in several forms of art/photography and has works in a number of museums around the world. www.opalenik.com
Josh Moates Hey Josh! Thanks for the response! I want say that I am and always will be a proud supporter and die hard fan of TrustCompany. The music has truly helped make me the person I am today and significantly shaped my appreciation for talent. I just wanted to know the status of the band as a whole. Any new music in the works? Plans for the future? (I apologize for my ignorance if any news has already been made public). I understand you're not with the band anymore, but i figured it couldn't hurt to ask. If not, I wish you the best of luck with your current endeavors as well as the rest of the group's.
This band crosses generations. I'm 53 and have been listening since they released this. This album is way deeper than the continuous and amazing musical jam. Who hasn't been in The Lonely Position of Neutral at some point in their lives?
It is really shocking to hear a band like this that doesn't have a bad song, yet so few have heard of them and their big hit is hardly their best song. I wouldn't put Downfall in my top 10, not knocking it at all, but they have so many better songs that deserve more play.
2024... I remember finding these guys in high school before I joined the military. These tunes remind me of those days, if I ever get the opportunity to see them live I will spend any amount of $$$ to take me back to those days.
I was in college when this dropped. You're so right, this album also takes me back to those awesome days. Thank you for your service. God bless you and your family.
Yeah me too. Being able to vent without too much self destruction, besides screaming myself hoarse by the end of the album, helped me through many difficult times. They are still one of my top favorite bands ever.
I'm 22, and the only reason I knew about them was because their song Downfall was in a video game I played as a young kid. I listened to that song a lot throughout Middle School, High School, and College, but it wasn't until a few months ago that I went through their albums. I'm so happy I did because they're incredible! My most listened to band this summer :)
This song pulled me out of such a deep place.. lead me from the fear, and I won’t leave you here.. there’s a way out. There’s a way , from here believe.. This song is about so much more than anyone perceives. I fucking love trust company in 2024!! 2:21
2023 and still listening. I was around 15 and younger when I heard u all. Thanks for helping me get through the tough years. I m sure tougher roads further down but I'm enjoying the ride. Thanks a million
This is perfect man! I hope more people begin to recognise you because you have some good, raw talent here and this song is a very underrated banger! God bless you son 😊❤
trust company was and is underrated. I seen them live at Polaris in Columbus oh. in 06. no one had really heard of them cause the one rock station at the time didn't play any of their song's. they fuckin rocked....they sounded better live then their cd. one of the best bands I've ever seen live and one of my favorite bands.
These songs by this band brings me bk....this band got me through the roughest days of my life...so wish I could of seen them live only time I had the chance when they opened for disturbed n Korn I philly years ago n got lost in Philly n never made it till after they were done😭😭
I still don't understand how they weren't bigger. Especially in that Era. I saw them with Chevelle and Breaking Benjamin when both of those bands had just come out. Trust Company was and is incredible.
Just came back to Trust Company. It has been a long time since listening to them and boy does it bring back some memories. Sure miss the music from this time. TrustCo was my go to when I needed to hear the right words!
Damn, this album brings back so many great memories from 2000s. I was a teen at the time, didnt have a care in the world, summers lasted forever, big group of friends who were by your side every single day no matter what, meeting a girl then finding out she likes you as much as you like her, which totally made my heart do cartwheels inside my chest, and we all could just hang out outside all day, find our own adventures and it felt like true freedom. Growing up sucks man.
Saw them in concert in Kansas City years ago. James was even playing guitar with a broken hand. I ended up hanging out with guys while they signed autographs, wearing Josh's hat. Jason was super sweet, but I froze when Kevin talked to me lol. Great music and genuinely nice guys :)
I’m french, and like any other boy of 10y old around 2009,10,11 I used to be a huge fan of WWE, used to watch highlights of event that I missed with some metal musics in the background. That’s how I started to listen this Band, around 2010.. I was in love with their songs.. still am, I’m 23 and a try to talk about this kind of music around me, that doesn’t really exist anymore (basically).. Metal, pop punk, was an incredible type of music that i grew up with! Very nostalgic when I listen to this✨
@@user-zc1ht1ky6m just finished the album and I did enjoy it. Though I wish the album was available on Spotify (had to download the album through 320youtube.com)
it feels GOOD to know that im not the only black guy who listens to rock @ 36 sec i saw a true fan. Im tired of stereotypes and biggots. i just like good music, and this is one of my good bands with a perm spot in my cd player.
Amazing song, amazing band, amazing everything. I'm glad they reformed, can't wait to hear there new album soon. Trust Compony, one of the most underrated bands.
Im proud of myself that I get to know this band. And this was my fave from their album! Havent seen my CD since yearrrrsss! Wish theyd get popular so they can continue something like this
This song reminds me when I first met my ex girlfriend in middle school who turn out to be my baby momma after high school.. wish we can go back, ... and is 2018 and i will always love her who she was when I met her!
I just found out about this band 4 days ago... and they are just incredible. I thought i found theee band i was gonna love forever Linkin Park (Which i still love) but then i listened to Downfall and then more of Trust Co.'s songs and i just loved it.
Who is still standing here?
These guys came from Montgomery, Alabama. My hometown. They started as 41Down. After I graduated they made it really big in 2002. It brings back so many memories when they were up and coming. Good times
It kills me to know that I will probably never meet anyone who knows about TrustCo.
BadAssDepartment what you need to know?
I was the bass player. I can help answer any questions

trust company sits in my brain right next to 12 stones and alter bridge.
TrustCompany are so relatable and they've got more bangers than any band I've heard. What utter brilliance.

isn't it odd as an adult to look back and realize you were into a band with a lead singer who can't sing?
.............agree to disagree......

13 years down the line, and I am listening to The Fear. Top tune.
2000s the best time, nothing like it anymore, no more sensation, all too real and harsh
