you decide to be a good person and eat healthy. You decide to give up red meat. But when you switch to chicken, you realise that it’s pumped full of antibiotics, so you can’t eat it. You then decide to eat fish, but all the fish now comes from a country whose food safety standards are, well, fishy. So you can’t eat that. You give up on meat altogether. And you opt for fruits. Until you realise that they’re artificially ripened using calcium carbide. So you can’t eat those. So you decide that the safest choice is vegetables. Until you see the sewers in which they are grown. So you can’t eat those. The only thing to do, then, is drink milk. But you find out that that’s been adulterated with hydrogen peroxide and formalin (and you’re not yet a dead body). So you can’t drink that. Man (and woman) can live by water alone, so that becomes your choice. But you cannot drink tap water. So you settle on bottled water. Until you realise that it’s simply tap water. And you can’t drink that. Good luck staying alive (or just well-nourished) in this day and age.

This is a masterpiece and very informative.Kenyans let's learn from this and take precaution. This is just a tip of the icebag on how a society can be so rotten to the extent of putting greed ahead of its own health. The biggest problem in kenya is 'greed' and it's costing us alot.
For those who lives in Nairobi, you can sacrifice only one hour on every Sunday morning to buy meat from kariobangi, to stoke fridge for a week. Or send nduthi. No more feeding on periodic table.
Narumoru 2015 I helped load a terminally ill cow onto a truck and followed it closely with my motorbike...the moment it ended at a slaughterhouse I turned 180 degrees and stopped eating meat
This is a very important topic which (NTV) we would like please this program been repeat in social media again and again who is with me 👍likes(we must stop death)
I totally disagree, in abroad like America/Canada its even worse. At least in Kenya one has a choice, you can grow your own food or buy from small grower the one you know well or rent a farm and actually grow and rear your animals for meat, options that do not exists easily in West.
I can assure you that of late my younger sibling and i have been going through hell with respiratory allergies, to be specific asthma. My mother has had sleepless nights at hospitals because my small brother had been going from bad to worse and constantly getting admitted. I can't describe the pain my whole family has been through. Especially owing to the fact that we are the only ones in our family suffering from asthmatic allergies.Something more surprising It was literally just a few hours ago today, I informed my mother about quiting beef. She laughed it off. Saying maybe I'm having skin allergies from something else. Funny part I had had spinach, ugali and beef for lunch sometime later my skin feels itchy and it's been happening for a while now. This is a major eye opener owing to the fact that the meat we consume comes from a major super market!!
That's a good thought. I am thinking if you advertise fresh you sell and it's gone your customers will know if I want fresh I will buy before its gone. And itakuwa imeisha before the end of the day and they make their money. The greed it's just sad
That's a recipe for lawsuits that's why news agencies never name and shame. Kuna government agencies tasked with such jobs they should be monitoring these stuff.
After watching Red Alert, You will realize why we have so many cancer cases on the rise in Kenya especially Nairobi. It's not just glue, not just mercury, not just plastic rice.

Being a vegetarian is the best, let me see those who have gone vegan by giving a like,
Soon they will be on us vegeterians.its high a high time we condem this before they catch up with us😆😅😅
Also vegetables and fruits ...
They are using chemicals to grow vegetables to look green and appealing 😂😂😂😂tukae tu njaaa
@@kadada1138 we are advised to Till that land and grow our own veges, and even rare our own poultry and cattle, this is safe..
Vegetable grown in raw sewage? Hakuna mtu ako safe ila yule ako mashinani analinda kile kinachoingia kwa mmea wake- hadi siku ana harvest.
Kudos Dennis Okari!!You have done what an entire department or even ministry hasn't done...this is the kind of journalism we want, not 2022 politics morning to evening!!
Thanks Dennis ...this is high class journalism, sio siasa kila saa

Good work Dennis Okari...I really can't believe this...this is soo sad....
37 supermarkets dislike this video..😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂
I am not eating any supermarket meat from today.. I will slaughter my few organic chicken whenever i feel like
Cyprian Cyprian you forgot butchery owners 😝
It's sad how this will be treated as a light matter 😭.
Thank you Dennis. At least now we know what's happening around us.
Now i relate to this been having face rushes which didnt end tried everything no change i decided two months ago to stop eating meat just vegetables and my skin changed kabisa this is bad for human health
true true i agree 100%
...😑😐🤔😂😂😂😂
Mungu wangu, so this is what my family is eating back at home.
What's happening in my beautiful country Kenya.
God protect my country and everyone living there.
My dear even abroad this is what we are eating no place is safe
Vera Yier we are doing business hereee
In diaspora is all the same but what shocks me that Kenyans are adapting to this stupid inhuman behavior.
@@wambsmie What's the difference between us and them?

When Mrs Oduor left Kebs[ Kenya Bereul of standards], All hell broke loose. Some offices in government nowadays help the thugs to have their way
we are eating alot of dangerous things without knowing....we are almost becoming walking deads....Lord have pity on us.
This is a masterpiece and very informative.Kenyans let's learn from this and take precaution. This is just a tip of the icebag on how a society can be so rotten to the extent of putting greed ahead of its own health. The biggest problem in kenya is 'greed' and it's costing us alot.
What a shame. This is criminal and they should be charged with murder. Thank you Dennis for letting the public know.
Meat and vegetables section in supermarket should be closed, people should go to kibanda and slaughter house to buy for themselves
Na butchery??... Ama direct mpaka slaughter house
Me naweza enda kwa slaughter houses established by Muslims. They wouldnt deal with such meat or do such stuff.
I second this...we need to get our foods from the farmers themselves
For those who lives in Nairobi, you can sacrifice only one hour on every Sunday morning to buy meat from kariobangi, to stoke fridge for a week. Or send nduthi. No more feeding on periodic table.
I agree everyone should go to the slaughter houses.
Narumoru 2015 I helped load a terminally ill cow onto a truck and followed it closely with my motorbike...the moment it ended at a slaughterhouse I turned 180 degrees and stopped eating meat
Oh thats tragic!
There one called "okoa" from where I'm from, he buys sick cows, slaughters them and takes them to his strings of butcheries.
wtf
Jesus christ. I have officially given up on meat
Where i am they even buy dead ones and old ones that can no longer stand, transport it to nairobi for slaughtering
This is a very important topic which (NTV) we would like please this program been repeat in social media again and again who is with me 👍likes(we must stop death)
this is is how we're dying of cancer at 35...
Living in Kenya is truly a "shot in the dark". Food is generally the number 1 killer: whether you have it or not, you'll die anyway
Its not only in kenya even the soo called majuu its worse
Take us through packed milk,,specifically the packed milk ,it’s where the “dead 💀 are risen “
Maziwa hu onja kitu ingine sijai kunywa...i hate it
Sometimes the milk looks like tea or cocoa
You will never drink another drop of milk when you see it...
Msiseme waah. And the way I drink it frequently.
Banking Revolution not every brand ,but I usually doubt where those companies take their rejects,,,I highly doubt it’s really discarded
I wonder what they put in beer, in Kenya even water needs to be tested, we might be drinking sulfuric acid.
I agree infact everything in Kenya should get tested.
Blasio Sefu especially watu wa Tusker inafaa waende kupimwa
Take-home message: carry your flies with you each time you go to the supermarket!
Why not just produce yourself upcountry and avoid supermarkets like a plague!😎
The next thing am going to buy in supermarket is electronics, credit and Biros and maybe books ...the rest i will buy outside
😂😂😂😂😂😂
My all time investigative journalist, good work bro. This is where cancer started, kumbe we buy cancer from supermarkets
That's why kfc chicken is very tasty. Solution ni kuenda ushago ama ununue shamba ufuge wanyama
I only respect and love 2 journalists in Kenya Mohamed Ali jicho pevu and Dennis okari for sure they deserve respect
What Im wondering is why don't they just stock what their velocity can handle.
Greed
That's a good thought. I am thinking if you advertise fresh you sell and it's gone your customers will know if I want fresh I will buy before its gone. And itakuwa imeisha before the end of the day and they make their money. The greed it's just sad
The pathologist has a unique way of responding to questions
@Ntv I believe as a major news outlet you are morally obligated to expose the culprits
all supermarkets do that. when u expose these, pple will move to the next one that wasn't exposed, which is equally guilty.
They're not an investigation agency, the DPP should now pick from there.
That's a recipe for lawsuits that's why news agencies never name and shame. Kuna government agencies tasked with such jobs they should be monitoring these stuff.
Privacy of media sources is provided for in the law.
That made me dislike the video...no need of investing in sunch investigation yet keed hiding people behind it
We are officially the waking dead
I agree with you
Journalist of the year very articulate..........nice job
We thank you Dennis Okari for saving our precious lives.
After watching Red Alert, You will realize why we have so many cancer cases on the rise in Kenya especially Nairobi. It's not just glue, not just mercury, not just plastic rice.
