Usually nations convert when the only province they have is of a reformed religion, the big nations the only way is for them to fall under religious wars and so the country gets a lot of provinces reformed so they have to accept demands or to manually convert. England and Germany are 100% converting in almost all games. Because England has an event they always choose, and a center of reform happens, nobody cares and everything gets converted.

As a Brazilian, seeing the Argentina full of Brazilians is the Holiest thing i've ever seen, but at the same time, seeing Brazil full of Englishmen is the worst scenario i can imagine
It is very noticeable, that some countries were ready to be formed, but didn't meet the requirements of faith (like Delhi a couple times) and some countries lacked their powerful government types, like Ottomans, Indian sultanates, Mamluks and many others.
Just going to add to the chorus of do "X" by saying this needs to be a series, make the entire world a religion for every religion present at the 144 Start, and just see what happens
Idea for time-lapse - convert vanilla CK2 to EU4 and let it run. Then do it again but with Sunset Invasion enabled. Then do it again but for CK3. Then find a mod that converts Imperator Rome to CK2, and then convert THAT to EU4. Have fun!
I use ffmpeg to convert my timelapse to video and Adobe Premiere to put it all together. I used to just use Premiere but it does not handle 1000's of images very well.

There are still only 6 reformation centers, and they aren't enough to forcibly convert anything outside of Central Europe.

what do you use to make your timelapses?
I use a program called Chronolapse to record the timelapse, ffmpeg to convert it to video, then Adobe Premiere to finish it up.
