The Longest EU4 Timelapse Ever
Вставка

- Seems like after a certain point the AI gets confused and stops trying to expand. I wonder if some calculations start to break down when there are so many 100-300 development provinces?
Also, if you like Old-school RuneScape, check out my friend's latest video, I made him a custom game mode: • This Immortal Snail is... - Ігри
Ah, yes, the Polish-German-Hungarian-Bulgarian-Serbian-Greek-Lithuanian Commonwealth.
But lithuania is Independent haha
haha you forget Franco-Turkish-Italian 🙂
Ruthenian-Russian too
Turkey became romanians
@@dino8ro no, in Commonwealth, actually Romania doesn't exist at that time 🙂
No way italy formed the two sicilies lmao
Seems to only be an endgame tag for humans
yeah i still cant believe this
Italians putting the " 2 is better than 1" theory to the test
It doesn’t matter they got raped by the ottomans lol
@@Adventurer32 theres a setting regarding endgame tags that dont affect ironman, its generally only enabled to form 1 endgame tag in comp games to eliminate cheese, but most SP games keep it disabled so they can form whatever they want when they want, only exception is most new world nation tags like the USA are perma endgame, and cannot form anything else even with the option to lock tags disabled
Timurids: *Take Sakhalin*
Japanese: "Karafuto is gone, let our eight millennia of splendid isolation begin!"
Japan moment
They would become another species
It’s interesting how in every one of these Timelapses the ottomans begin incredibly strong for the first several hundred years and then immediately get eaten up.
It shows that even though they are in the optimal position to expand from in all directions, they’re also in the optimal position to be surrounded and expanded into (just like IRL).
Ottoman African and Indian Conquest Stalls
Or that their military pips take a nosedive after 1650.
it’s not the positioning it’s just their military pips fall off hard
@@Gustav_Kuriga they no longer become a lucky nation after awhile too.
It's probably because when they are no longer a lucky nation they really suffer. Geographically it makes sense why they struggle to expand with either European or Indian colitiations becoming a threat if they tried blobing all at once. I think their mission trees also drop off leaving them with few expansion paths. I'm also willing to bet there's some "hardcode" to really only take out the Mamluks and conquer Arabia. Just like they will always declare war on Byzantium first unless Byzantium does something special.
South America clearly was in need of some FREEDOM
Frisian Freedom, yes!
That's already a weird run even at standard end date. Russia never formed, Morrocco lived, that's pretty much a unicorn from the start
Really? That’s quite common in my games
Russia never forms in my games. Granted I don't usually play past 1550 all that often but still, everyone acts like it's a given but I've never seen it.
ming exploded and then saved it
Morocco living to the end-date is actually historical too. They weren't wiped off the map until the early 20th century.
Timurids would do so well if they just formed Mughals...
But never did take Delhi.
@@MicaiahBaron I know, but that wouldn't be too hard for them either
When I saw the "you won't guess the 2nd GP" I literally said out loud, "probably someone in America", lol.
if you had waited for another 10000 years, you would have gotten the very special....
*THREE SICILIES*
How did great britain survive the whole timelapse?! they really do rule the waves
Because AI dont deal well with landings, they are absolute morons. Same reason Japan and other island nations lived
The AI tends not to have any Provinces of Interest in Britain and Ireland if they don't start there. France will make a try every once and a while, particularly if the UK angers them, but other than that literally no one wants it. Same with Iceland, and to an extent Japan.
@@ducttapeanddreams that, and currently the AI is afraid of transport boats, so island nations are normally safe
I had Cyprus win a war against the Ottomans and even take some land because Ottomans literally did nothing and then peaced out after a few years
@@user-zg4bk6rv1q Same situation for me but Ryuku and Japan
Poland has made it to space baby GG Poland…
Just imagine You are bengal soldier figthing 18th war with Timurids in nearly 1984's way for a little scrap of land
I see that the US might have taken the Munroe doctrine a little too seriously
manifest destiny much?
[Freedom intensifiés]
I love how "Italy" reformed into "Two Sicilies"
Illustration: Polish Space Marines vs Timourid Stormtroopers on the 983th battle of Novgorod.
This was a pretty interesting game even by 1821. No Russia and a blobby Commonwealth going strong, which prevented any major push by the Ottomans into Europe. Morocco managing to thrive pretty well, Scotland still around, Naples in control of Italy and Venice taking over Austria. Japan is doing well colonizing into the mainland.
blobby commonwealth happens often for me since Muscovy is becoming more and more underpowered, the merc nerf gave them a bit of breathing room but still they are fairly weak economically, not getting trade ideas is often a death sentence for the AI...
Morocco can thrive if it can defeat Portugal early, which they didn't do here but Spain didn't feel like expanding...
Ah yes Tonga, the most advanced city state there is
Don't forget the good old Sam oa
Based
You're back!!!
I hope everything was going well because you weren't active for a while.
I really doubt moving would take that long. But nice to see you're not dead!
The fuck you on about
Indeed
@Dupedfish they weren't posting community updates, they didn't say they were leaving, it was just a complete stop with no reason as to why, I was hopeful, but death was a option, not the most prominent thing.
Also the dead thing was used as a joke.
@Dupedfish ew redditor
Good to see you back again!! 😄
First time i've ever seen the united states, brazil and peru happen, idk if this is because i have no dlc s but i not once have seen a colony gain independance in my 100 hours
Yeah, DLC features like Support Independence really help.
@@MicaiahBaron also the fact that this game lasted super long, and the longer it goes on the more LD subjects get
I dont have any DLC to, but one time f*cking PARAGUAY had almost all of South America !
Monroe doctrine is beautiful
Iceland: "If i'm quiet they won't know I exist"
return of the king
So glad to see you back. Looking forward to whatever future content you have planned.
Saw that little sliver of South America while showcasing southern hemisphere and immediately knew who was #2
ah yes the nation of Bone 7:50
the year is 8800, I grip my musket tightly as the hated Timurids once more assault my beloved Commonwealth of Polish-German-Hungarian-Bulgarian-Serbian-Greek-Lithuanian peoples....
finally, PLC doesnt get eaten in mid 17 hundreds
Man I missed these videos! Thanks for being back!
He's BACK! Let's go dude! I'd love to chat with you about some modding stuff.
Missed the videos. Happy to see this at the top of my feed
Glad to see u back in my feed, hoping for more 🥰
UA-cam knew you'd be coming back, since I've suddenly been getting recommendations for this channel over the past few weeks. The algorithm can now predict the future.
Glad you are back! I hope there will be planty of new content!
Why did Italy form the Two Sicillies?! xD
Just binged your videos two weeks ago. Welcome back
Ah yes, I remember the time Friesland colonized all of south America.
“Oh, this is interesting, I should try thi- *potato computer explodes*
Love that an Emperor is called August XXXVIII and another one Tetabuxite III
Everyone loves a good Timmy game
922M army lose 👀
I know it was only for a moment when USA was young, but I don't think I have ever seen Illinois as a nation in this game.
It's good to have you back 😊
Imagine a Warhammer-esque universe based off this timeline.
The old world apart from Europe is basically just a sunni Ocean
And the new world is legit a protestant Ocean with all that deep blue
I love how the balkans and anatolia just became romanian culture lol
1:35 is pretty much as far in the future like we are from the perspective of the vikings.
Time can be mind blowing.
the stars at night are big and bright _clap clap clap clap_ deep in the heart of British Mexico
The legend...is back!
The king returns 👑
Nice seeing Two-Sicilies pop up, and you got a lovely big USA! I faced similar issue with mine, A.I didn't really increase the size of its armies from about 1800 on, suppose we cant complain too much, its only designed to get to 1821!
Had to go away and compare this to my own 10,000 year time-lapse (for anyone interested: ua-cam.com/video/5Yro-DdSTiE/v-deo.html), interesting that in both of ours Tonga had the most development with Samoa 2nd! Army casualties are similar, to be expected give the same timespan, except my Ottoman who had went crazy and killed 1.18 Billion by attrition alone 😆
The glorious sight of the ai refusing to colonize Africa by all means
MANIFEST DESTINY 2.0...
Now no one can complain about our name...
Finally Poland can into space!
The tongan-samoan hyper wars rage on
LETS GO ANOTHER POST AFTER HOW LONG
the creek resistance was awesomw af
I was waiting to see this! Saw that you had gone inactive, considered doing it myself...hahahah!
man, hope you one day do this with timeline expanded starting at like 2000 B.C.
There is no game for that
@@notofficialpickles507 it’s a mod for eu4
@@ysff0710 what mod? Extended timeline starts at 2 ad. I wish there were bc version.
And other mods like Imperium Universalis change the map so there's no way to continue to normal game
There is no way to do BCE times in EU4, it's just not possible due to how the game engine works
@@speedyx3493 I don't remember how timeline expanded handles dates, but you can start playing in the bronze age
I guessed Ming would be #2 at the start lmao, also I think if the mughals formed they would've won, so close
Maybe, but Timmy was far weaker than he seemed. He held a lot of Tibet, Siberia, arabia, and Scandinavia. All mostly useless. He had Iraq, Iran, maybe Manchuria, maybe the caucus, that’s about all he had going for him.
Commonwealth had the entire balkans, the best parts of the ottomans, the best parts of Russia, the best parts of Scandinavia, all of Eastern Europe, and United Germany.
Alright, say what you will about the Timurids, but they certainly fought for what they have. 922 *million* casualties? Yikes. Also funny to see that the huge United States still keeps forgetting to do something about Cuba... ;D
BRO I FOUND YOUR CHANNEL TODAY BEFORE YOU POSTED THIS AND I WAS SAD YOU STTOPED POSTING AND THE YOU POST THIS!!!!!
RETURN OF THE KING
Seven Months, wow this must’ve taken a *long* time for UA-cam to process
Holy shit, been wondering where you were
Welcome back!!!!
YESSSSS u are back
The cursed Romanian anatolia
When you Drum Bun a little too hard.
Love seeing what random culture dominates the new world: Frisian was unexpected until we saw the HRE History, then it made sense.
Welcome back :)
Yooo, he's back
love that the Timurids owned most of eurasia, but couldn't form the Mughals cos they never got Delhi
This is the timeline I want to live in. Manifest destiny finally complete… im the Americas.. time to bring it to the rest!
WOOO HES BACK
ime Traveller breaks a branch.
Time Traveller: Meh... It's Probably noth...
HOLY ROMAN SOVIET REPUBLIC.
Man, the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth is seriously overpowered against Turkic cultures. No matter how OP they are, Europe was still defended.
Props, guys. Kudos even.
i havent played EU4 in a long while, where u using mods for the 10,000 years run?
you're alive!
i've always like timurids more than the mughals but i cant contain myself from clicking the button!
no one is gonna talk about romanian ottomans?
No one expected reborn of Novgorod in tenth millenium
Im going to be doing a Lets play EU4 gradually changing Nations throughout the campaign ... Which Nation should i start off as ??
i like when you show litle odities like the mameluks
This game wasn't designed to go on this long. Cultures and religions 10000 years from now would be entirely unrecognizable. I wouldn't be surprised if there is a Cult of the Holy Light, dedicated to worshiping photons.
Mega campaign going into stellaris💀
how long have you been playing?
how do u make a timelapse when u played a game?
That's one tall iceland if I've ever seen one
Can we see a game where all nations are hordes?
Murrica go brr lol
United States of America literally became the United States of America 13:00
Im going to be doing a Lets play EU4 gradually changing Nations throughout the campaign ... Which Nation should i start off as ??
I didn't expect Delhi to last so long
Ahh yes, the great continent of south USA
I wouldn’t mind being Due Siciliano
How does your computer handle this
95k troops on one small island classic mamluks move
Im going to be doing a Lets play EU4 gradually changing Nations throughout the campaign ... Which Nation should i start off as ??
How the heck is there an August XLI?
Ah yes, the American revolution of 2981.
Bone
Yes
Its sad that eu is just an map painter and countries can't broke in different kingdoms like in crusader kings.
Would be hard to implemant since its no longer the feodal age, you cant just break countries by having wrong succession right anymore though i suppose you could get the Vicky 2 "dismantle" options if the cores didnt vanish in a few hundred years
