Perhaps once or twice in a generation you get a film which marks an epoch in technical or creative delivery, such as Aliens, Jurassic Park, The Matrix etc. I believe Oppenheimer will be one of those films, not for the technical aspects, but the sheer jaw-dropping scope and extraordinary power of the storytelling. As with real history, there was a movie world before Oppenheimer, and a completely different world after.

I’ve been a huge fan of Cillian ever since I saw Batman Begins in the theater at age 14. Now he his not just one of my favorite actors but objectively, I think he is one of the best actors or all time!
I agree Cillian is a brilliant actor. If you want to see watch another actor that can match him in intensity, watch Toshiro Mifune in a Kurosawa film, e.g., “Seven Samurai” or “Throne of Blood”
Cillian seems like a brilliant man, and he seems like he's talking about things that're very simple relative to what's going on in his mind. I'm surprised he became an actor with such an introverted, intelligent nature.
I'm just thinking back through Cillian Murphy's career, and I don't think I've ever watched a film where he wasn't the star of the show. Even when he wasn't intended to be. He's never been in a bad film, and many of them were taken to that next level purely because of him. I wasn't a huge fan of Oppenheimer, but he made it work when I don't think any other actor could.
Watched a few interviews before seeing the movie, seeing this one after. This movie is such a great story and Nolan’s way of making it, casting, everyone’s performance, maybe the last truly great film for a long time…

I can see the Oscar going to whoever ticks the, 'woke' box....Oscars lost credibility about 6 years ago when it forgot to give awards to the best actors and films and appear to take the moral upper hand in its decisions, rather than the art itself....so whether he gets the statue or not doesn't actually matter.
Cillian is great and these interviews are always so interesting to me and you can learn more about them from their body language and facial expressions then you can from their actual answers.

You mentioned Gary Old man When be played Dracula ' Be was tremendous 'Its my best scene ever when be was Dracule"" just amazing So is Cillian though he's spot on xx❤❤
Ali does the best interviews. Love each of them! Cillian is truly a magnificent actor.
Cillian always representing us Cork people to the highest. We are all so proud of you.
Never seen a more charismatic man than him 🤩
Absolutely fantastic interviewer! Kept thinking throughout how much of a breath of fresh air it must be for the actors doing dozens of junkets.
What I love about both the Tommy Shelby Oppeheimer connection is that their lives actually would overlap in a Peaky Blinder universe - given the time periods... and knowing that Tommy would know about Oppenheimer makes me happy!
It’s always mesmerizing to hear amazing actors go into details about their thought process to be able to execute each scene in a movie. I guess that’s why they get paid handsomely to do what they do 😅
I am so so glad this was filmed before the strike. Would've broken my heart if there was no Ali interview
Oppenheimer is a masterpiece, hands down, Cillian Murphy should get an Oscar for this performance and equally Christopher Nolan
The stare is outstanding. He is an amazing actor.
The press for these types of films must be hard work ..then ali comes along and actually asks pertinent questions that pique the stars interest..good going!
Brilliant performance. Great film. Lovely interview.
Cillian deserves to win or atleast be nominated for an Oscars for this film
Definitely win
FINALLY
I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS INTERVIEW😭❤️❤️
This movie is such a great story and Nolan’s way of making it, casting, everyone’s performance, maybe the last truly great film for a long time…
Cillian deserves oscar for that
Just watched the movie…AMAZING!!!
YES!! I absolutely loved it!!
This is honestly one of my favorite interviews ever. Fantastic questions and knowledge sharing; what a great fuckin conversation!

Isn't AI great?
Seen it and he is winning the Oscar for his performance hands down.
I was so waiting for this interview and it was worth it
I was so hoping Ali would interview Cillian ❤
cillian murphy and christopher nolan is a masterpiece waiting to happen. this movie is a masterpeice and i hope cillian and chris will work together again.
If he didn't get an Oscar for his role, then we should boycott Oscar.
Or you know, nuke 'em?
Too yt
I can see the Oscar going to whoever ticks the, 'woke' box....Oscars lost credibility about 6 years ago when it forgot to give awards to the best actors and films and appear to take the moral upper hand in its decisions, rather than the art itself....so whether he gets the statue or not doesn't actually matter.
I mean, who's the competition lol ? Ryan Gosling ? 😂

Cillian is great and these interviews are always so interesting to me and you can learn more about them from their body language and facial expressions then you can from their actual answers.

What a conversation! I never see cillian talking this much.. Thank you for this one bbc
The last minute of the film is genuniely the most terrified I've been in years. Also, I was surprised at just how poignant the film was, especially the last hour during the deposition.
Cillian is Sunshine. Brilliant. Wondrous. Powerful. A real treat.
