stop sinning aka “go and sin no more” is what Jesus tells alot of these people, also the woman caught in adultery. Sin in not an action, rather Jesus knows its inheritance and unbelief. u see, we commit sins due to out unbelief, “of sin, they don’t believe in me”. our unbelief essentially is what causes us to sin because we trust ourselves above the word of God. thats why its so beautiful the way Jesus confronts these people. Its like a message of “i dont condemn you, but stop trusting yourself and trust in Me, and i will give u rest “
Great video, just came up, blessed me so much. Thank you. God bless you for Blessing me today.God help me to WALK in the fullness of the grace of Christ every day
I see the leaders of our churches today ignoring the whole of the law and nit picking every little verse in scripture. I fear that some of our spiritual leaders are becoming pharisees.
I would pose to look at Jesus' constant character and teaching in scripture. Although we don't know what caused this man's cripple state, obviously Jesus did come back at the healed cripple man to say "sin no more" so nothing worse happens to you. Obviously, the Lord is stating don't abuse grace (Romans 6:1-2) and knew what led to his crippled state. Jesus also told the adulterous woman that he doesn't condemn her and to go and sin no more (although they way the adulterous woman was "caught" in sin wasn't with the right motives). It's all about knowing that Jesus' Christ grace and mercy and, most importantly, His love, should lead His true followers to sin less. Be well and be at peace
The man was a professional victim. He was sinful and undeserving of his miracle. All people are sinful in spite of their disability. This is still true today. Disabled people are every bit as sinful as the rest of us. They don’t get a pass because of a disability. Jesus makes it clear to him later and the guy fingers him to the Sanhedrin. How’s that for grattitude?

God's Timing is always above our understanding

Stop sinning means stop sitting down doing nothing waiting around for miracles. Get up and act

Exactly brother
Powerful insight skywalker, perhaps someday you may have paralysis or dementia and be blessed to know you are a sinner!

I disagree that Jesus was speaking to the abilities within the man. Aside from that, great video
I honestly think it does matter if it was a superstition tradition or an angel from God stirring the water.
Why?
