  • David Guzik takes us into chapter 5 of the Gospel of John. In the first 9 verses we see how Jesus heals a man at the pool of Bethesda, and another man who was lame.

Thank you pastor this gives me a different insight of this chapter. Help me to focus on Your way, Jesus my Saviour instead of my way. I want healing Jehovah Rapha, and if I were there on that day I would have missed my opportunity too to come face to face with the One who holds the key to healing. Forgive us King Jesus, we perish for lack of alertness discernment anticipation and awareness of Your presence in us, and beyond us, Jehovah Shammah. Have mercy on us, Son of David! 🙏🏽

Jesus was still living. How can it be Pentecost when the Holy Ghost didnt decend yet?

There was Pentecost before that. The people were filled with the Holy Spirit speaking in other tongues during Pentecost. We as Christians have come to associate Pentecost as meaning that.
In Hebrew it’s called Shavout. We get the word Pentecost from the Greek word.
Celebration of Shavuot occurs on the 50th day, or seven weeks, after the sheaf offering of the harvest celebrated during Passover. The holiday is therefore also called Pentecost from the Greek pentēkostē (“50th”)
