Yes, you heard it here first!! The shop update has a DATE! YAY! Everything from my last shop update in March/April will be available for international and national shipping. Check out your country's shipping policies before order please!!
Totes will be on preorder... if I was to guess when they will be ready to ship I'd say in November sometime. Awesome March has informed me that they are "lost" and they need 7 business days to try and locate them... if they do not find them they will be re printed! Very cool!!!

Thanks, Leigh, for the tiling demo. I want to try it! Your tiling job looks good and, more importantly, looks DONE! I also live in an old house and nothing in this old house is straight. It's what we have to work with. But I love old houses. So...imperfect perfection. :)

You can paint the space between the tiles with white acrylic washeble paint and you wont notice this at all

I am currently living in south Vietnam and the leaves do not change here, so it was really nice to see some Autumn sauce. Fall has always been my favorite season. Oh the irony!!!!

The tiles are so satisfying! Crooked floors and walls sound like an nightmare for a project like that, but I didn't even notice those small bits that don't align. The floor tiles are also so pretty. Can't wait for more home reno stuff! also love your racoons :3

I‘ve been peeling three layers of wallpaper from over 50 years ago off the walls last summer. There‘s this little nifty tool, basically it‘s a roller with lots of spikes that punch through the wallpaper and create a ton of holes. You then soak the wallpaper with water (use a sponge) and just peel it off. Saves a TON of time and sore hands.
Looked it up. It‘s called wallpaper perforator.
I will check it out! He’s peeling off SUPER thick paint in this video I wonder if it would work for that 🤔

dunno if yall have tried this but: old wallpaper can be removed easily with a bottle of hot water -
1) score the wallpaper with a utility knife
2) get a spray bottle with steaming hot water
3) spray the wall and let it soak in for a few minutes
4) scrape!! :D
my dad and I did this to our house, with one person spraying ahead and the other scraping behind
Thank you for the tips! We are scraping really thick paint not wallpaper Idk if it will work the same someone else suggested a special perforating tool too!

The + spacers go in the corners between the tiles, so they line up. In case they didn't tell you. :)

Wait, totally random, but wouldn’t the gap plastic cross thingies separating the tile’s grout be used to align the corners of the next tile too? I think they did that in my parents house 🤔 i can’t recall for sure but i think they put them like + in the corners. They also go from top down too 😭 I’m sorry if I sound dumb obnoxious intruding 😭 i’ll lead myself out

You know, they say that the ceramic tile is supposed to be easy to grout like that ... except every time I've done it (4x at this point) it's been really freaking hard to get off and I was awake all night crying and scrubbing haha lmfao!!
