One good thing about my day: took my mental health walk (exercise for the day) and I feel great mentally and physically! I recently quit a toxic job so this break is well needed

I work with my Dad painting houses a couple days a week & I really felt that streak of paint in your hair. Way to embrace your inner human canvas. My 4 year old watched this entire vlog with me. She’s here for it. If she left the room she demanded I pause the video so she wouldn’t miss anything. So you get a big thumbs up from me and a little thumbs up from mini me 👍👍

It might sound a little silly, but every single day my cat (who will be 19 next month) wakes up and is so affectionate is a good day. Today he was especially affectionate and silly and it made me really happy. I love him so much
My nice thing for the day is that my cat is usually aloof but snuggled me while I was waking up this morning!! So yours was so sweet to read
good thing about today: feeling really good about myself after therapy this morning and ready to take charge of my life and what's been going on lately
My mom was visiting and she left today, and our cat is wandering around looking for her and sitting on the couch where they sat together every day. So it's kind of sad but also really sweet because they bonded so hard this visit. And yeah, I miss my mom already but it was so good to spend this past week with her.
Your video was a good thing for my day today. Kids are still asleep and i could watch the WHOLE video without interuption...nice!! Feel relaxed and inspired...thank you loving your work 😁

Leigh, I think you should look up nasturtium flowers. They're wobbly and floppy. I think you might like painting/drawing them. I have some in my garden and they make me so happy. They remind me of lily pads out of water. Lotsa fun!

My one good thing today is hand sewing a beaded pot cover with rainbow coloured thread (it took a lot longer than I anticipated, I didn't have enough beads, and it has a few quirks that only handmade things would have.... but I love it)
Also, loving the longer vid showing the reno (your house is stuffed to the gunnels with such amazing and beautiful details)

Also! I often save these vlogs for when I am unmotivated in my own art-making or I'm packing to travel somewhere. It makes me feel less alone, like I'm hanging out with a friend, and inspired to pull out all my favorite mediums and go nuts with it. Plus, your vlogs are so chill, colorful, and full of Toadie content, so it helps me have something in the background when packing is stressful. What's not to smile at? :)

one good thing today - went to the beach with my mum and her pup Benny and got Benny so excited to learn of the wonder of digging in the sand. He got the zoomies and then started rolling in the sand. He looked like he was wearing a load of foundation on his face, it was so funny X'D

I've heard that painting a light neutral grey first over a dark colour can make it easier to get to a solid white. I haven't tried it, but if you're painting three coats it might be worth a shot.
