@@mikep6275 they also make an inside corner piece. I used the two trim pieces because the area I put the Novik on was a small area that had a roof section so it would have made an inside corner a little weird.
Curious to know how you did the parts on either side of the chimney that are lower than the bottom of the chimney, and also are not level. I haven't found any installation instructions for areas that change elevation and/or slope. I'm guessing you can just rig it for small sections and it will be OK.
Thanks for the explanation
Absolutely! Thanks for the view and comment
Im having trouble cutting the finish trim around gamble style roof on my shed.
I use tin snips to cut it and it works pretty well
Yea, I can cut it fine its figuring the angles out so it looks good.
Great Channel! Enjoying the informative content. Thanks for what you do!

How do you install it around doors and windows? Do you notch it like you would regular J Channel?
I cut it like regular trim without 45 degree miters. The top piece above the door extends over the side pieces
Is there a certain way to join the j channels together I done some and they don't line up very good. They only came in 6 ft lengths too.
I haven’t found a good way to join them. I also was troubled with the fact that they were only 6 ft long. I’m hoping they improve on that aspect.
@mr.kongable thanks for the update
How do you finish inner corners
