I have a Rockwell 617 with a grease fitting that lubricates the drive gear. The Rockwell name was short lived takeover of Porter cable as Pentair came back and re-started the Porter Cable name soon after, though the saws are virtually identical. My 11A bearing is shrieking so I ordered all three to replace. if you dig around online all three can be had. I love the drop-base design. Milwaukee used to use it too. Saws i see now are all tilt-base :-(
We sold this one some time ago, but I don't think you need a special wrench I think it is just a standard 1/2 wrench. I think the star looking part is behind the nut.

You mentioned the brake doesn't work. That's because it hasn't got a brake. Non of the old Porter Cable/Rockwell saws had brakes.
Ok thanks I didn't realize that
How do you change the blade on that!? I can’t figure it out

I received one of these saws from my father. How do you change the blade on it? Do I need a special wrench?

Yes you need a flat steet wrench to hold the arbor behind the blade. This saw was the best for finish carpenters. We own two of them
