He's 100% independent. He produces all the beats, writes his own lyrics, his girlfriend directs, edits, and films all of the music business, and his sister and brother in law work with them as well. Tom and Adam Calhoun released The Brave 2 early last year. They were projected to chart 5 different digital billboard charts at #1 - come Tuesday morning when the charts were released, the 5 they were supposed to get #1 on had been removed and "discontinued" - The year before that they put out The Brave 1 and would have gotten #1 there too but they were independently releasing the physical copies of the album and so Billboard refused to count them. They have been fighting Tom tooth an nail since the beginning. Tom ended up with 3 #1 billboards for this song and also a #3 in all genres. He's still winning even though they keep trying to keep him down. Imagine where he would be if they weren't suppressing him.

Mac Lethal was who he bodied. It started when Tom put out a song years ago called, Straight White Male. The Tom dropped a bait track called, Lethal Injection, Mac responded with, Single White Female, and then Tom buried Mac with, Mac Lethal Sucks (Mac Lethal Diss 2).
You left out the part that Mac was talking shit subliminally on social media about Tom. That's what lead to Tom's bait track to Mac.

The man he destroyed was Mac Lethal. Tom and Nova are totally independent. Got a new sub here and looking forward to more of the rabbit hole. My first song was Brainwashed, and I don't think my mouth closed once. They NEVER disappoint. Tom taught me that it was not rap that I hated for years, just mainstream rap. Here’s some of what I know that Tom did with his money. His first check from Tunecore off of “dear rappers” was 10 grand and he use that to invest in new equipment and got a better place to live. Then I know that he bought his sisters wedding gown a few years later, which was 10 grand. Then he paid off his parents mortgage so his mom and dad could retire. He bought all new appliances for their house and sent his mom a LV purse loaded with 100,000 to boot! Tom also got his dad a boat and paid for his dad to go sailing the ocean. He also paid for his dad to visit Nepal. I also know that on two different occasions he had a big sale for “ALL” funding to go to veterans charities!! Over 200k combined!) He also added his sister Jenna Emily (hence the “Emily” tat above his eyebrow) to join his production and quit her job as a nurse in Canada cause it was keeping her depressed and upset so she gotta work visa and moved to the states! Who else does that?!?

I think a really good into into Tom's political music would be "The Machine" - if you want to see some bars "Boom Bap 101" and if you want to see some fun collab work "Black and White" By Tom, Adam Calhoun, and Dax...that would is epic. This rabbit hole is crazy deep. Tom has done so many styles of music so it really just depends on what you like.

The labels were releasing multiple versions of the same song to try to beat his sales numbers; like 5 or 6 versions (because all the versions of one song count). This happened every single time Tom dropped till Billboard moved the digital sales charts behind the pro paywall. Tom was born and raised in Canada, but has lived in California for a decade with his girlfriend Nova who does all the videos (and backing vocals). A lot of the things he said in here were in response to accusations lobbed at him by Ryan Upchurch.

The more his political tracks are exposed to the public the bigger his following and viewership gets, especially during the politically polarized times we’re in. Billboard did remove the digital charts from their website for a short time but then added a paywall to view them. Tom had a pretty big part in that, due to him topping the charts over the biggest label artists like Cardi, Megyn, Nicki, Drake and Eminem.

HOG stands for hangovergang. Hangover gang initially is what Tom called his close circle of friends that he would go out and party with. He said the the term stood for having the best time of your life. Over time when he started music he gave that name to his Fanbase. And of course he was drinking and on drugs at that time however, as he became sober, the term “hangovergang” still means having the best time of your life, but without drugs or alcohol!

He is amazing and speaks truth. He clawed his way up from the bottom and is real about his past and his struggles. He is the GOAT imo and that will never change. I respect him as a person and an artist. His family is amazing and his girlfriend is just as amazing as he is. My mother used to always yell about how much she HATED rap until I had her listen to him. Now she loves HIS music and is the only nearly 71 year old I know of that wears his merch and plays his CD's loud when driving down the road. The guy that he got into a rap battle with was MacLethal and every since then he has refused to ever do that again. He is the only artist of his caliber that I know of that gets on his discord and talks to fans often and does live streams. He is the best of the best. HOG FOREVER

His ole lady, Nova, films & produces all his videos. I genuinely feel like his come up was organic. If I’m not mistaken, Mac Lethal was the one that he bodied during their rap feud. Many people called Tom “racist” because his last track “Facts” feat. Ben Shapiro took aim at the industry and called out the sinister agenda they put out. Many rappers took it personally, even though it wasn’t meant for them individually, just the industry as a whole. Loved this reaction, it felt genuine and it made me happy to see someone experience Tom in the way he intended it!

When Took first started over ten years ago, he was still using drugs and alcohol. But he got sober, became a man of God, and started rapping about politics and things that matters to him. He catches so much flack from other people because he's an independent artist. And he's the only independent artist who's been able to hit the charts starting independent. He battles Mac Lethal and Mac ended up losing his career and his wife. But he references Upchurch's ongoing issues with Tom. He's addressing everything everybody says about him. And you are right. The signed artists were catching flack because Tom was doing bigger than they were...and if course the record execs hated it. Also, true God mode is being able to take care of the people around you. Tupac has the song "Dear Mama". That's what's it's really all about. God says share your wealth. That's what Tom is saying. He addressed all the haters and then let's then know that he doesn't care what they say...that he's still going to be the person that he is. Say he's illuminati, say he's racist, say he can't be a patriot because he's Canadian, say he's this, say he's that... He's still going to do what he does and take care of the people around him...and continue doing what he loves for the fans.
