Hey buddy. Disagree tho. Procharged GT350 will always be faster than a stock GT500. Its lighter and a maual
@@DrivewayDemons a gt350 does not have the TQ curve of a GT500 so no it’s not faster at all
Make sure to do the Steeda handling upgrades first. IRS Subframe Brace, vertical links, etc. It improves handling, eliminates the wheel hop, and will allow you to put the power down when you get boost. I've gotten a few of the Steeda parts and it's awesome the difference!
I plan to do some mods to suspension.
@@DrivewayDemons need more than that. And honestly the suspension is already super solid. Check out BMR and Steeda handling upgrades.
I started with these and it's such a difference around the track and also launching (no added NVH):

I’m in between trying to make my decision on my GT 350 my three options were Whipple Procharger or TwinTurbo I had to eliminate the Whipple Because I don’t want to remove the tower brace so my other two options are
Pro Charger or Hellion Twin Turbo kit. Turbos cost more money than Pro Charger’s also have parasitic loss since it’s belt driven but TwinTurbo’s I don’t know I’m still thinking about it
Whipple is gonna be my choice now 😀

A lot of people compare the GT350 against boosted cars and then act like it’s a slouch. Because it’s got Shelbys name on it they think it’s the top dog for some reason. Me personally I think the GT350 is amazing to have a 5.2 liter natural aspirated engine. Just imagine if it had the 10 speed auto or the 7 DCT. It would be even faster. But I love manuals!!

Are you going to get some euro taillights? And I’d love to see the GT350 with the LED strip along the edges of the headlights, it’s morimoto headlights, they’d look sick
I like those headlights but I dont want to crack open these headlights would have to get another set.

Love the cars man good video. Watching you race this charger against your gt350 being what 526hp stock racing an old charger with comparable power on the highway catering to you in the fashion of being lighter with the same power and a roll race. Against the new c8 which is 400 hp on a roll where the mid engine is basically useless relying on hp to carry it. You are correct though it did win as it should had and cost less while being light. Great platform but if I were you I would do some twins to accommodate that beautiful power band and no parasitic loss like a belt driven although pro charger will be just fine if your not looking to build the motor for more and at 750 hp it will be just fine and cheaper probably which is why your going with it right. Anyways love the new lettering nicely done.
Hey Josh! Yea the C8 on a roll is decent, both of these C8's had 495hp package on them. Plus they are lighter but the GT350 on the top end is just insane on a roll. Procharger is much more affordable for 700-900 whp. Its a bargain. lol

I have the same issue trying to find the perfect power add her on my GT 350 and I do not like to remove The strut tower brace so Whipple is out show my other two options is TwinTurbo or Pro Charger the Vortech I do not like the way they put it on the passenger side I think that’s a stupid design even though the unit is very good quality.
So I’m trying to make my decision between Hallion TwinTurbo kit and the Pro Charger

The weight is so minuscule and can be offset by a battery location anyways..
Yea procharger unit weighs like 60 lbs total weight with all fluids and full install I think it's actually a bit less. I already have a 4lb battery so I saved 26+ lbs there.
@@DrivewayDemons That’s pretty light, I have a Gen V Whipple coming for my ‘18 350 and I hope it’s that light. I thought a blower kit would be close to 150lbs

Much better breathing. Better heads, cams, crank is balanced better and 8400 redline vs 7000. Max power on a e85 tuned gt350 is 8400 where as 5.0 stock max power is achieved at 6500

Not even close. GT500 weighs 4300lbs stock and makes 700whp. I will be 800whp easily and 3500 lbs lol not even close. Car is upwards of $30k cheaper too lol
