The Bulls did try to build around Jimmy. They signed Rondo to give him a pg that can run the offense. But Jimmy Butler went out on a limb and forced the team to sign wade because he was upset the Heat wouldn't pay him. This was caused by Jimmy. Our Shooting Guard forced the team to sign a redundant player instead of spending that money on another Big man and a sharp shooter.

Love this young core man. Coby took a step last year i think he got another step in him this year to get to 22 ppg without demar. I think pwill will get way better once you move demar and let him cook on the wing as opposed to being stuck in the corner with basically only one way to go with the baseline being the other defender. I like that rookie they drafted he reminds me of ak47. Ayo off the bench is solid that'll be a roll he grows into as his career unfolds. Julian phillips can grow into a 3 and d guy. Keep Zach i think without demar he goes back to the 25 ppg zach. At the deadline you can see if he can grow with this core or you can trade him with his value being increased with a half season of him being healthy hopefully and him back to being a 25 ppg.
Starters: Giddy, Zach, Pat, Craig, Vooch
Reserves: Coby, Ayo, Phillips, buzellis, free agent big.
This team will only win about 30 games but would be competitive in 80% of their games. And theyll be back in lottery and hopefully can get lucky in a pretty solid 25 draft. They can't resign demar dude he'll impede any progression from the young players with his heavy isolation having guys standing around watching him.

As long as players are expected to come in the league and create their own shot, not play an organized half court set, watch the point guard dribble the length of the floor and force up a shot while not looking at their teammates, not seeking any offensive boards, jacking up 3-pointers from the locker room, celebrating after a dunk and your team is 30 points down with 50 seconds to go, They have an excellent chance to be great!!!

The chicago bulls should go for the youth

'Bro? These are dark days for our Bulls. It's been dark days since Mike, Jerry, and Phil left. When we have had good fortune since? It's by accident. We're a circus, a clown show. What is a "youth movement?" Is that like a bowel movement? What does it do, where does it go? Usually down the toilet. With the Bulls? You never know!

The young core story line is only good if you have a building block. Viewing the current Bulls roster, I don't think any player on the young core of the Bulls is better than the 2017 Laker young core
Do you realize the Lakers young core, in 2017, was far better than any of these Bulls young core? These players were all on the Lakers team the year before Lebron came.
    - Julius Randle - 22
    - Kyle Kuzma - 21
    - Jordan Clarkson - 25
    - Josh Hart - 22
    - Ivica Zubac - 20
    - Brandon Ingram - 19
    - Lonzo Ball - 19
    - Thomas Bryant - 19
    - Alex Caruso - 23
    - Larry Nance Jr - 24
    - Dangelo Russel - 21
Don't get too hype on the concept of a young core unless you have a building block for that. And I don't see it at this time. They have to get one.

There is no scheme! it's a pick and roll, pick and pop type offense. It's at best, a "pick up game mentality!"
