Raindancer is now available in digital formats! "Okay guys, I think it's time to go ahead and update you guys on what's been going on with me:
I have developed a muscle tremor of sorts in my singing voice. (chest voice in particular) It's something I've been struggling with for over a year, but it has become very bad these last months. The doctor suspects my thyroid is the culprit, but really isn't sure. I have also been working with a vocal coach to see if some strengthening exercises have any effect - sadly no change in the tremor. I have been despairing that this might be the end of my career as a singer.
I have been writing many songs and recording a new instrumental album, but it is just not the same as singing.
I promise I will keep trying to beat this problem! Please wish me luck."

Lost my wife unexpectedly to cancer 2 years ago. I played "No one but you", "I'll follow you into the Dark and "Beyond the Shards" as she was breathing her last. They seemed to capture the essence of our relationship. I'd played them for her before, but the lyrics seemed to say what I was feeling at the time. I still play them in the middle of the night when I wake up missing her. Keeps me from eating a bullet so far.

Dear Kate, thanks for this beautiful song. Our lovely son Lucas died through an tragic car accident last Sunday (12.02.12). He was only 20 years old. Your song was played during the funeral. We felt it was the right song to transport our emotions & sadness. Your song described the nature of our lovely son in that moment. Believe us, it was a very hard way we had to go yesterday, but your amazing song gave us a kind of power we all needed in that moment.

Dear Kate ! some years ago , i was a member of a church , one of the pastors grand daughter had and has in my opinion a voice that is almost a perfect match to yours , she no longer sings much or done any thing on you tube , i would say a blessing came unto me as i listen to your stunning awesome voice , No one but you and Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen are now the 2 songs as my all time favorites . i thank you for sharing in this incredible journey , for you are the talented, gifted one !!!!

This is absolutely my favorite thing I have ever heard from you. I was absolutely entranced by it--it was like touching the threshold of Heaven (I get really into music). My heart is still pounding and my hands are still shaking. You are one of the few outside of Verdi or Mozart who have had this effect on me. Definitely better than your covers, and your covers are pure joy.
The song is lovely. I just can't seem to stop listening to the soothing melody. It allows my mind to be put to rest from everything bad in the world and lets me experiance true peace of the melodys.
