A tip for everyone: Catching butterflies while catching birds is a lot better for low lvl hunter(Do in the piscatoris area), get a hunter potion so you can start catching butterflies at lvl 12 hunter. This should save you around 30min.
Rake weed, he said a "money maker". How do you make money with lizards? That would be stupid. Chin hunting for new account is a great way to build some cash.
just wanted to say it's been one year since I restarted my osrs journey and it's all been because of this series. Thank you very much for breaking runescape down into little milestones like this. I always recommend this series to friends who are starting anew and/or just lost.
I think this is a great idea! I’d say keep it at 1 hour a day and 2 hours on the weekend. Maybe one random day through the week you can play 2 hours or so. That’s realistic. Between working a full time job and living with my girlfriend and doing all that comes with that, one hour a day is realistically all I have time for. Im excited for this series!
Quick Tip: Instead of getting 5 thieving you can use the 250 starting GP you get from tutorial Island to buy wines from Draynor Village(they cost 1gp and heal for 11hp) 28 gp for a full invent and you'll be set for stronghold of security.
Sweet thats about how long i get to play rs back in the day i used to put in most of my time into rs bit now with kids and work its impossible great serie
i am following this series from the start with a fresh acc to get it to the stage you'res is at, ive had alot of med levels but never a 126. im going to follow this as i think its a really good bass to start a max combat acc!
same, and thats why my first account sucked. Later in life i made a new account that surpassed my first one on every level. Hell my mom wouldnt even pay for me to be a member back then lol.
Looking forward to watching this. Good to see you back, regardless of account. Also, not to be that guy, but Saturday and Sunday would be 7th and 1st days!
For everyone in the comments recommending he does more than 1 hr a day, he's not showing you a step by step on how to make an account playing only 1 hr a day, but just an interesting way to show the most efficient way to make an account for people who cant play all day. He's doing the 1 hr for novelty, not bc people can only play 1 hr a day.
Really interesting restriction to playing RS. I've recently been to busy to really play the game, but this makes playing it a little bit much more fun. Just finished my first hour, looking foward to playing again much more than I can remember in the last couple of years of playing rs. I am taking a different route than you are though, because I think it's a more efficient way to start off. ;) Feel free to add me in game if you want to, rsn is One Hr Daily :)
Found this series recently and just a few things to add/correct for this video. IDK if they changed req's recently but grey chins can start at 53 not 54, and black chins are at 73 not 72. (also reds at 63)
Got all the way to 53 hunter... and you can't lay box traps without doing Eagle's Peak quest. PLEASE PUT THIS IN THE VIDEO. I'm sure it got updated because people bot chins for tons of money but.... what a huge bummer to get this far and get turned around for a stupid quest that I have 0gp for.
Like many others are saying, I think 2 hours would be perfect. And maybe every other weekend you do a little extra like 3 or 4 hours. BUT great concept for sure, definitely will be watching.
I prefer starting an account with questing once I've done the stronghold. Slayermusiq has a great list you can start on fresh from tutorial island and avoid a lot of low level training. edit: I take it back making money first to dramatically speed up everything else is a great idea
Oddly i didint have the thought of a video guide for making a good account ty man! Ive been playing for bout 2weeks lvl70 focusing slayer which is 54 other statz r meh i have basic agility for g.e. a bit of quests but i think my account is decent but is mising something and guideness i eventually want to join a pvp clan kill people be a beast and stuff thats the fun
Hey N0thinglasts1, great vid and i decided to make an account n go based off your method. Ive just now made it to lvl 43 hunter but i did it doing the barbed kebbits from 30ish to 43. The next step as you listed would be falconry. And thats where im stuck at. Ive tried looking up ways to get there but so far ive found the only 2 ways of accessing is through the tree gnome quest and/or the fairy tale part 2 quest... is there another way? Please respond
For real man your videos inspire and keep me interested I would love to see you in the game if you ever wanna meet up just for a virtual handshake my names jamied keep up the good work man you are an inspiration!
Honestly think an hour is just too short. 2 would be much better. Honestly not that much long, but twice as fast. Your already looking at a year + for a 99
I'd say the avg plays around 3-4 hours a day id say do 2 hours a day and 4 hour days every 2 days out of the week at least that's what I do working a ft job and stuff
1 hour a day? If i dont play atleast 4-8hrs of rs a day i feel like i barely did anything. Also why are your graphics so good? I dont see anything in setting i can edit for mine
The idea for a guide for newbies on how to start playing efficiently is a good one, but I think there's something inherently wrong in recommending anyone who can just play for 1 hour a day to play Runescape, or any mmorpg. No matter how well you master the tips and tricks shown here, at some point you won't be leveling from 1 to 10, but from 40 to 50, and then from 50 to 60, and so on, and at some point playing 1 hour will just make you stay in place and not progress. If you actually fall in love with the game in the meantime, this will just cause frustration.
why not show the place on the map?? making people tale am extra step or two just to find out where ur talking about it tedious...(specially for me, the falconry place...because i did do priest in peril.)
if someone cares enough to get a 99 they are going to be playing more than an hour a day... most of them are 200+ hours when you already prepped for it. I'd make life easier for yourself and do 2-3 hours a day, and 4-5 on the weekends. there are some quests you can't even complete in under an hour lol
Most are not nearly 200 hours. The only ones that take 200 hours once you're prepped are fishing (if you're lazy), agility, slayer, and runecrafting. Maybe mining, depending on what method
A tip for everyone: Catching butterflies while catching birds is a lot better for low lvl hunter(Do in the piscatoris area), get a hunter potion so you can start catching butterflies at lvl 12 hunter.
This should save you around 30min.
also, catch lizards instead of chins
I've found that strictly just focusing on butterflies is much faster than stopping for the birds.
Alex W hahahahahahahahha
Rake weed, he said a "money maker". How do you make money with lizards? That would be stupid. Chin hunting for new account is a great way to build some cash.

Yup most realistic
You have a girlfriend?
@@troywashington8925 He probably bought her
I can't find that item on the GE though. Is it untradeable? Or is it a quest item?
I play when my girlfriend is asleep lol so I get to play about 2-9 am. Otherwise I’d get half an hour a day
GREAT idea for a series.
agreed, its refreshing.
As Programmer with little to no time to invest in this amazing game i really appreciate your video man it will help me a lot.
Cheers for getting me back into Runescape after so many years! Bit older so have less time so this is perfect! Starting today :)
Really like this idea of a series man, can't wait to see the progress every week!
Quick Tip: Instead of getting 5 thieving you can use the 250 starting GP you get from tutorial Island to buy wines from Draynor Village(they cost 1gp and heal for 11hp) 28 gp for a full invent and you'll be set for stronghold of security.
Yea but you need the thieving from there anyway so you should do it there anyways, then do stronghold if you want
I am really enjoying this series already, since I do not have much time to play OSRS aswell. Keep up the good work!
Sweet thats about how long i get to play rs back in the day i used to put in most of my time into rs bit now with kids and work its impossible great serie

As a kid I had exactly that time limit lool
same, and thats why my first account sucked. Later in life i made a new account that surpassed my first one on every level. Hell my mom wouldnt even pay for me to be a member back then lol.
Otis X TM i feel that one mate, Got my own Care at 16 tho
oh man can i relate!
As an adult I only have that time...
Bro as an adult that's my time limit
Nice idea!! 1h is perfect, consedering that some days might not play... you are awsome! Congrats
I really like how you’ve made this with completely new players in mind
This is a brilliant series will definitely help out new players, ill post this to the osrs fb for new people to watch.
Looking forward to watching this. Good to see you back, regardless of account.
Also, not to be that guy, but Saturday and Sunday would be 7th and 1st days!
This is a really really cool idea. Looking forward to monitoring the progress
this series is gonna blow up tbh especially with RS Mobile releasing
Havent seen such a Series before, I'm really interested, keep it up :)
Rush varrock diaries for daily battlestaves ez money
Subbed because I've always felt like this with OSRS
im going to subscribe legit for this series i expect more soon great idea btw

Good idea for a series, looking forward to it
Love it, makes me want to log on and use this as a guide
Need to learn how to set box-traps by doing Eagles Peak Quest.
Level 9 hunter pure?
One thing you should have done is show on the map were you were, because lets face it a noob is't gunna know were anything is
How many nublets are gonna search for efficiency guides, though? They’d be more likely to look up OSRS4dummies than OSRSstreamlined.
@@bob513993 well fuck me then
@@bob513993 well, im looking. I have a bust life and i love runescape. :(
Interesting series idea, I like it. Good luck sir
Funny how you start this series and then King of the Skill releases haha
Pretty much the exact concept and officially
Oh I mean if your account was iron anyways. But still pretty similar ideas between the two.
Tip for noobies! Skilling tab left from inventory has guide on each skill if you arent sure about something!
Like many others are saying, I think 2 hours would be perfect. And maybe every other weekend you do a little extra like 3 or 4 hours. BUT great concept for sure, definitely will be watching.
This is great! I only get to play maybe 1 2 hours a day sometimes not even that on the weekends I get to play around 5
Why is this just a hunter guide
I prefer starting an account with questing once I've done the stronghold. Slayermusiq has a great list you can start on fresh from tutorial island and avoid a lot of low level training.
edit: I take it back making money first to dramatically speed up everything else is a great idea
Im about to start this journey again - do you have a list of what to do on each day?
i always get attacked by snails during the swap lizards hunt. Can someone please give me any tips
Props for showing people authenticator!
Finally some original content ! (not saying you steal other youtubers content, but that everyone uploads the same crap)
This idea is good. Im looking forward to seeing more for sure
This is actually an interesting idea. Everyone being so all in on one game at a time, this iz different
nice hunter guide!
how to you get the skill tracker to show up at the bottom left like that?
This is an awesome idea!
How many hours per day?
Oddly i didint have the thought of a video guide for making a good account ty man! Travel through Seer's village and talk to Kathy Corkat to go down stream
For real man your videos inspire and keep me interested I would love to see you in the game if you ever wanna meet up just for a virtual handshake my names jamied keep up the good work man you are an inspiration!
Is there any possibility of getting this entire thing as a pdf? If you have it all Written up that would be sick
guys do i just throw the raw bird meat or do i sell at ge cuz im currently looking mainly for xp not money what do you think
Drop the bird meat its not worth keeping lol
Tbh if I only had one hour a day to game I don't think rs would be the ideal choice. Especially from lvl 3
Ryan Suhm From experience, it's never just runescape when you are short in time, or atleast me. I usually play rs while playing another game.
walked all the way to kebbits. with no boxtraps LOL
I rly miss this series :(
@N0thinglasts1 Please place a notification. "to learn how to setup a box trap you need "eagles peak quest""
I actually wasted an hour because you didn't say you need to complete part of the eagles peak quest to learn how to setup a box trap...
this video was made before they put that requirement in, they done that to combat bots
How do you get that XP bars on the bottom right?
How do you get your button layout to be like that on resizable screen
Fullscreen
intro song?
got a max cape but will still watch these videos :)
I like how your channel is called nothing lasts yet this series is going to last >_>
9 hours a week, like damn, I cry if I can't play atleast 50 hours a week.
iSimonGames how do you have the Time to play 50 hours a week.?
Callum Russell I just play all the time, Saturday and Sunday I don't have to do anything so I play like 25 hours then
iSimonGames fuck thats insane im lucky to do 8 hours a week..
iSimonGames Ikr? I usually manage to do 70 hours a week, and even I think that's pretty standard
I could do like 90 a week if I wasn't busy with irl things you know?
Ok so how did you get into the museum without the dig site quest?
safe spot removed?
great idea homie!!!!
You could use the Sixty minute man by the Dominoes as an intro song!
Can you do a f2p guide?
Honestly think an hour is just too short. 2 would be much better. Honestly not that much long, but twice as fast. Your already looking at a year + for a 99
it will take 4 months for 99 hunter
fair enough was honestly thinking a melee skill, aside from chinning range.
4 months if we do it 1 hour a day?
Not everyone plays for 99s
Defeats the purpose imo
Great hunter guide xd
are you using an extension to track xp like that? also when the enemy health bar shows up in the top left corner?
OSBuddy is the client he is using I believe. Check it out, its really helpful and has some great in-client tools.
I'd say the avg plays around 3-4 hours a day id say do 2 hours a day and 4 hour days every 2 days out of the week at least that's what I do working a ft job and stuff
I wish you can upload 1 hour every day unedited content of this acc
Play it very little? Isn’t that just a healthy amount!?
how did you already have 9 hunter?
How much money did you end with after one week of hunting?
Do 1 hour a day on weekdays, but on weekends (3 days) play 2 or 3 :) just to help the series move a little faster.
909 slayer?
why didnt you three tick chins?
F2P version?
You can do this using one hour per day, but if you want a 99, you literally have to sit for more than that and grind.
this is a win trade, You should be only doing birdhouse runs early
Would've been cool if it was you trying to do it. instead of explaining how to do it lol
IceAmaz I'm sure in the future it'll be less of a "guide"
Cool video idea
Box traps require eagle's peak??
Yes. These vids were made before the update that changed box traps to require eagles peak.
The funny thing is I dont remember having to do eagles peak I just logged in after a year of not playing and i had to do it
i wonder how long this series went on O_O
love the idea. but maybe do 2 hours and 3-5 hours on weekends?
Jose Sibrian I think its fine, because some days u might not play. He did this having in mind the adults that may wanna start playing again
only say 2 hours because imagine later getting gwd kc or raids where he may not even get it done in an hour (not hating lol)
The goals are not that end-game though
Defeats the purpose imo
1 hour a day? If i dont play atleast 4-8hrs of rs a day i feel like i barely did anything. Also why are your graphics so good? I dont see anything in setting i can edit for mine

What a great idea
Do a new series where it's playing 3 hours a day?
are you related to mindmadcow
why not show the place on the map?? making people tale am extra step or two just to find out where ur talking about it tedious...(specially for me, the falconry place...because i did do priest in peril.)
Nothing lasts but nothing is lost......
hi, just a suggestion, write out a script if you're ever doing a voice over to prevent all them umm-s!
What about f2p cause f2p doesn’t have theving
Love the content, maybe 2hrs ä day would be better tho
Where is castle wars
if someone cares enough to get a 99 they are going to be playing more than an hour a day... most of them are 200+ hours when you already prepped for it.
