    does this mod makes wheels go out 30mm ? , as if you bought wheels with smaller et offset ?

    • @mattwillow7
      @mattwillow7  Рік тому

      It makes the wheel move to the front and a bit out, but because of more camber it's not that obvious, nowhere near 30 mm

      @@mattwillow7 iis wheel track 10 or 20 mm wider track ?

    • @mattwillow7
      @mattwillow7  Рік тому

      @@justiceiscomingsoon around 10mm, but as I said, because of camber increase it's hard to see and to mesure, only lower part of the wheel moves out

    Hello what about the rest of the arms? I mean the Tension strut also from M3

      They will bring the wheel and caster back a bit, but I would rather use powerflex caster bushings, infact, that's the setup I have ready to go right now 😉

    Hi, any issues with the placement of the Xenon hight level arm?

      Hi, my car didn't have xenons, but it should work just fine

    Hello !
    I have 17inch wheels, dou you think it will fit ? Does it takes extra space into the wheel ?
    I saw people afraid it will not so now I am too :D

      No problems with wheels, only offset because the track is a bit wider, but clearence inside is ok even with 16

      No, only RWD cars, xDrive has shorter control arms.

    Damn! How you feel the car after this modification ?

      I have different toe alignment, so on plus side car has more direct steering, better turn-in and understeer is almost eliminated. Minus is that it's a bit more unstable in straight line and it tends to tramline on bad roads.

      @@mattwillow7 maybe little more toe in? Certain cars it helps straight line, not sure of the f20/f30. torque spec might help too

      @@mattwillow7how's the tyre wear? And is it much hasher? Did it on my 90, enjoyed the increased camber but inside tyre went prematurely + ride was super harsh

    • @mattwillow7
      @mattwillow7  Рік тому +1

      @@Armada8589 I had less tire wear, usually outer edges go first because I drive fast through the corners and the roads where I live are pretty twisty, so more camber helps in my case. Front end is lower around 5 mm after this mod but it's not harder, steering is a bit heavier, but it also improves the steering feel and turn in

    • @Armada8589
      @Armada8589 Рік тому

      @@mattwillow7 thanks 👍 sounds like my next upgrade. The dead steering feel and understeer are something I can't live with on my f30 330d.

    Hi...I have M adaptive suspension on my F31...will it work? I saw some videos that the wheel after installing goes little bit forward in the fender. So from side view it is not good looking like not much space in front of the tire and much after. any thoughts?

    • @mattwillow7
      @mattwillow7  2 роки тому

      Hi, I don't have any expirience with adaptiv suspension, so not sure, but don't really see why it wouldn't work. As for the wheel position it does move quite a bit, you can correct that with M tension arm or Powerflex caster bushing
