    One thing I would add is to not keep the arms straight when going back. Doing so will place much of the weight on the shoulder joints and biceps. What you want to do is keep a slight bend in the elbows as you're moving back so as to keep the tension on your chest and straighten your arms out as you come forward. Imagine you're trying to give someone a hug.

      This was the key for me...I had a weird situation where my pec fly was more than double the weight of my bench. I was keeping my arms rounded without straightening as I came forward, taking a lot of the load off my pec.
