Hey all, thanks for the support and concern. I'm good, just banged up. This crash happened 3 weeks ago as of me writing this. My leg is still in a knee and ankle brace but I'm healing up fine. Rode again 9 days after the wreck. As for what caused it, just a series of bad decisions on my part. Bad lane positioning, bad road surface, going too fast, target fixation, etc. Fortunately my gear held up and I had some luck on my side; it could have been much worse.

But what happen if you Drive with reckless people who just accelerate Hard on curves and shit like that? the amount of factor on crashing on a Bike is really high, the amount of rocks and dirt on the side of the road or even Oil... You just don't ride with these kind of people who drive reckless right? it's good to accelerate hard and stuff but i am scared someday someone will ask me to go hard on Curves. From what i've seen, it's risky to Crash with the roads we have. it's not like it's a good condition road on a close circuit : \
first he wasnt riding reckless and 2nd this was a target fixation accident.... they can ask you to go hard on curves doesnt mean you have to.... ive been asked that but i never do i always takes those curves easy

A motorcycle wreck under 40 mph, as long as it isn't a collision with another vehicle you're probably gonna be OK. Over 40 mph is where you start seeing more injuries... but 70? Lucky he had that shoulder to slide down as opposed to sliding into that guard rail. Also that was a solid jacket after that 5 seconds of high grit sandpaper.

Not correct lane position for the speed he was going in order to make the corner. He needed a more outside approach from the right side (shoulder) then go in towards the center yellow lines like how the biker in front of him did, he was fairly close to the center line when he tried to initiate the turn so that's why he crashed. Outside to inside is how you're supposed to hit corners, glad he's okay though.
dljdljdljdljdlj he was going too fast so he probabaly thought if he did too much counter steering or leaning he would slip out so instead he didn't lean as much and ended up on the shoulder and it was too late them
He would've been fine if he leaned more to the left, but there a shit ton of slippery patches on the road too. Looked like a totally normal corner, except he just almost didn't lean at all.
he only went on gravel after leaving the road marks, he should've leaned more, he really needs to practice those curves. lesson: never try to go at the same speed as the rider in front of you, just because he can do it, it doesn't mean you can do it as well, everyone as limits their own limits, curve wasn't that tight as well wich reveals lack of experience from him

This video is the reason why I won't get anything more than 50cc, anytime soon. Some people have fun with the big bikes for years, but at some point, they get an accident which either will discourage them, or will physically stop them from riding anymore. And, having any accidents at such speeds is expensive and/or dangerous.
That girl did really well at handling the crash. The first thing she did is ask if he was okay, then she asked if he hit his head, then checked for more injuries. She did great.

He didn't hit the guardrail, he just slid. I think dude was a bit dramatic, he wasn't really hurt. The first thing I would've did was jumped back up and checked on my bike.
That’s a nasty surface to slide on. Don’t under estimate the shock. As the adrenaline plummets you can feel properly weird as shit. Not everyone reacts the same every time. Only bike I’ve ever fallen off was a 125 as a teenager (it only did 40). Prob was only doing 25-30. Hurt like hell and shook me up.

Strange timing for me to see this,,,4 days ago I , a 70 yr old man went down a corner that I had been running around for over 15 yrs. Last thing I remember was the front tire washing out, me and the gsxr was in the air, going over a embankment. The next thing I knew was me standing besides my bike and people were asking me if I was ok. Didn't go to hospital because I don't use Western medicine, I sat home for four days and hurt ,real bad,maybe a slight concussion..... I'm still sore, busted ribs ,shoulder blade but I'll get better. Hope you keep getting better,,ride safe!

He didn't hit the guardrail, he just slid. I think dude was a bit dramatic, he wasn't really hurt. The first thing I would've did was jumped back up and checked on my bike.

That’s a nasty surface to slide on. Don’t under estimate the shock. As the adrenaline plummets you can feel properly weird as shit. Not everyone reacts the same every time. Only bike I’ve ever fallen off was a 125 as a teenager (it only did 40). Prob was only doing 25-30. Hurt like hell and shook me up.

Strange timing for me to see this,,,4 days ago I , a 70 yr old man went down a corner that I had been running around for over 15 yrs. Last thing I remember was the front tire washing out, me and the gsxr was in the air, going over a embankment. The next thing I knew was me standing besides my bike and people were asking me if I was ok. Didn't go to hospital because I don't use Western medicine, I sat home for four days and hurt ,real bad,maybe a slight concussion..... I'm still sore, busted ribs ,shoulder blade but I'll get better. Hope you keep getting better,,ride safe!

Dude the reck was not bad you where on the ground for 10 minutes you just slid. but your lucky unlike me I got hit in the back and fell offf hitting my head causing me to have a concussion and I kept asking the Same questions like how did the reck happen and I was nicked out on the side of the road, at least that's what my friend said.
