I've enjoyed watching your videos...visited Guadalajara twice before and it is on my Top 5 list of.places to releocate to in Mexico...will be looking forward to your adventures there. #1LUV
We've only been there once but it has our attention....the weather, the views and the venues..#allgood. The apartments there are pricey but we believe the adventures will be well worth it. Thanks for cruising through our catalog. -BigUps
Nice!!! You're going to my home town!! I'm pretty sure that you will like the weather. I recommend you to visit Ajijic, Chapala, Tequila, Tlaquepaque, and the archeologic site of Guachimontones. If you like hiking, go to la barranca (canyon) de Huetitlan, but be ready with water and good shoes, it's very challenging hiking. A lot people go very early in the morning because it's a long trail and it might take some time to come back up.
Great tips for additional streams of income. Moving there on retirement income, but def interested in making additional income...thank you again. You guys are amazing.💕
I'll miss seeing you, its been nice knowing we have such young and responsible neighbors in Merida. Guadalajara is a good choice, that's where my paternal ancestral roots come from, enjoy, go in peace
Yes from what i´ve heard Merida is beautiful but the heat most year round is unbearable. I Think you are gonna like Guadalajara´s weather because is much cooler. The cool thing about Mexico is that you can have all types of weather. For example i live in Monterrey and summers are hot but not as humid as i heard it is in Merida and during the fall , and winter it can get below freezing. And in springtime its the most temperate season.
I love you guys! Recently discovered your channel, new subscriber here. Traveled throughout the UK and Europe when I was very young. Now getting back to it at fabulous 63!! Thanks for all the information you provide. Planning, ( Lord willing) to stay in Mexico for a month before the years end ultimately looking to move there. Merida appears too hot for me 😓plus I want a more coastal city. Your recommendations are appreciated. God bless you both!
Welcome aboard! Thanks for subscribing and for the blessings! We have heard that Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan and Veracruz were nice cities. We plan on visiting Puerto Vallarta (God willing) in the next month or two. -May your travels be filled with joyous memories!
I love you guys, I really do! You keep it fresh and honest and I like that so much. So I have a question: As much as you liked Merida, why didn't it feel like home? The heat is almost everywhere in Mexico, right? Mosquitos? Do you think you will ever find a place that feels like home or will you guys continue to be the Nomadic Wanders and just continue to travel the world. I was wondering.
Thanks! We really liked Merida but the heat here is just not comfortable. We've lived in Thailand, Bali and Colombia and they all were hot but comfortable. Mexico has many more states that have varying temps. The place we're heading to (Guadalajara) is in the Siera Madre mountains and it runs about 10° -15° cooler than Merida no a/c necessary. ...but yes we plan on being on the road for a couple of more years..Africa, Eastern Europe and more of South America have to be seen before we settle down.😲😁 Merida is a chill place though.
I'm always so inspired by your generosity: information, good energy and spirit. Did I miss where you are going next? Looking forward to taking the next journey with you. Hasta luego
You guys rock. Cheers to Black Love.🥂 Have you two seen Panama?🌴 The mountainous area Boquete is about 75 degrees year round.🏝 I want to teach online too. I used to teach ESL in NYC but life happened big big during my final year in the university & I didn't graduate.
@@TheYarbros I was wondering if you guys are still on a tourist visa? I'm interested in knowing if there is any issue coming in and out of the country every 6 months?
@@indigoarcher Yes, we are still on a tourist visa we haven't had any problems so far. When we leave we are usually out of the country for a week and then return with little scrutiny at the border. -praise God!
I assumed you were going there after your trip there a while back. No plans on living in africa? I know covid is still a thing rn but maybe in the future? You might enjoy some of the eastern european countries, lol not in the winter. Portugal is another option. Enjoy the journey my friends.
What can I say your ESPN is tuned in 😆. Yes we are looking to Africa and Europe but we have some countries to check off of our lists in North and South America 1st...its hard because the south of Spain, Morocco, Turkey and Portugal are 🗣 to us....
@@TheYarbros Lol I was going to say morocco and turkey as well. I have a friend in Turkey rn and he loves it. The channel Our Rich Journey lives in Portugal rn and seem to love it. Great channel as well. You both have plenty of time to see all those place. Looking forward to seeing your journey.

You are arriving at the right time. It appears that some semblance of normalcy is coming back to Merida. Wishing you and yours some safe travels during these crazy times.
