    The Great Red Spot gets its power from internal sources within Jupiter.
    If the same storm were put on earth, the power source would instead be the Sun, which would actually hinder the storm's power since the Sun is further with respect to the storm this way if on earth than the distance from the storm and Jupiter's interior when the storm is located on Jupiter.

  • @ky1ebetts

    I suspect that the Great Red Spot is NOT a storm. It is caused by a small rocky moon that orbits under Jupiter's cloudtops.

    • @ky1ebetts
      @ky1ebetts 5 місяців тому +3

      Explains the anticyclone anomaly if the rocky body is rotating. Jet streams have been ripping the buried moon apart for hundreds of years, which is why Jupiter's equatorial bands have the red and brown hues. Normally Jupiter would have dark blue and gray colors like you see at it's poles.

      But if that spot isn't moving, how does a moon goes around Jupiter at the same speed as the planet itself?

    • @brizzle3903
      @brizzle3903 5 місяців тому

    Didn’t Jupiter and Saturn form on the inside of earth closer to the sun and the rocky planets formed beyond them? Then they eventually shifted positions for some reason but I bet those myth, ledgers and stories we hear about the great flood or cataclysm’s sounds kinda like what those ancient civilizations talked about.

    0:05 *Solar system????? come on homie you gonna have something that blatantly wrong in the first 5 seconds?
    Edit: to anyone reading this, this has very little scientific accuracy, especially the first section, second and third aren't as bad but gravitational physics just don't work how they showed, chapters 2 and 3 are ok, not particularly accurate but better than the first one, please don't regurgitate any of this to sound smart, anyone who knows what they're talking about will laugh at you.
