Hey guys! Little update on this video the AI’s are built like this in Half-Life Alyx I understand the AI’s suck but it’s apart of the game maybe if I increase the difficulty on Hard it will increase the AI’s Reaction I’m not sure I feel like it won’t make a difference. But on this modded map if I set it on hard mode, I get shot 3 times which next time if I play the creators map I will set it on Hard Mode Guaranteed!
I’ve played this map a couple months back that’s why, I should’ve made it more harder where I get shot 3 times it was on normal which is where I get shot 7 times.
@@Tree457 lmao isn’t that the truth…game has so much potential but the developers neglect the shit out of it….I don’t want new maps and new guns (yet) over improving the AI and gameplay…adding more game modes as well….I love onward but it’s fun for about 10 minutes unless your playing against actual people and even then more than half the time it’s just a bunch of obnoxious kids 🤦🏻♂️
The AI doesnt suck, its actually really good in Half-Life Alyx, due to this being a mod with a gun that kills in 1-2 shots, the AI doesnt seem very intelligent, it works a lot better with the half life alyx arsenal and gameplay style.
I tried to walk (not teleport) in contractors, it feels sick, very odd, =( How about sickness in this mod while walking in VR, although you stand still IRL?
I do a lot of VR. There's 2 things you need to keep in mind to play games with joystick walking in VR. Point number 1: You need a consistent framerate. If your PC is struggling to keep the game running at 120/90 Frames per second consistently, you should lower the frame cap down. An image the jolts down from 90 to 72 is a lot more nausea inducing then one that stays at 72 all the time. Your brain kind of adapts. Point number 2: If you want to play with joystick locomotion you're gonna need to practice a lot. not in the sense that it's hard because controlling it isn't the difficult part, I mean you need to play for a couple minutes, you'll get dizzy, stop, try again in a couple hours/next day. After you do this for a couple weeks, maybe a month, you'll get to the point where you're just straight up unphased by walking in VR. It really sucks that it has to be like this, essentially "you get used to it", but sadly unless we get those ready player one omni-directional treadmill, this is just the reality of playing in VR. Humans have not evolved to just walk around on joysticks and being put in a scenario where we do is very jarring to our brain. But you do eventually stop getting dizzy.
@@GustavoGarufi allmost all of it is a myth. get used to it, yeah. but thats a very small part. framerate doesnt matter. only thing that makes it worse is stuttering if the image suddenly stops for a second while you are moving your head. play some VRchat and you'll see for yourself. framerate on many servers is garbage. more like 10 - 20 fps usually. and walking around with a joystick is really only weird the first time. after that, pretty natural. same with jumping from high places without fear. then try to walk in Phasmophobia. its a nightmare. it gets slightly easier after you are more used to it, but idk how they implemented it, but its kinda nausea inducing. while maintaining a good framerate. because it feels more like the world is moving around you instead of you moving in the world. like standing on a conveyor belt. half life alyx is just as VRchat - no problem at all. to get used to it its probably best to begin in standing, then sit down cuz you wont get wonky by the effect of seeing movement but not moving so trying to steer against it. after the first 1 - 2 sessions like that you wont have much of a problem and it will be at an ignorable rate
yes. you just have to go through steam VR using a link cable or airlink if you have good internet. its a steam workshop mod for Half life Alyx. he has the link in the description.

That one guy who refused to die and stood still
At 4:09 I'm waiting for the "Inception " floor roll...
Wow, have you run this level a bunch of times before? It feels like you knew where enemies would be at.

This game looks great but can you kill 3 people with a F'ing pencil? An F'ing pencil.
In true John wick style though you should try this run through with only doing 1 or 2 shots max for each enemy, and aim for all headshots lol 😆
When global entered the competitive with the silvers
A Half-Life Alyx mod? Noice
