I have Infective endocarditis, I was in the ICU for a week in Chicago with a pickline in my heart.
I'm 3 months out and all they've gone over with me since is a ekg and something else like a sound test...
I'm just not sure why I'm not still on antibiotics or if the bacteria is gone or what is going on in general. I don't understand what is going on. I want answers.

Can this be diagnosed with a heart MRI with Contrast? Also if the cause is an infected tooth, when should the tooth be removed? (After the treatment of Endocarditis or before/as soon as posible?
