I saw another review that started with: “Okay look, if you’re watching this wondering if you should buy this kit and you really like Zoids, don’t watch any further: Go get it now!” So I did. And it’s pretty cool. It’s a worthy successor to King Gojulas.
The Zoids Wild Zoids are based on the wild Zoids from the lore. Zoids are sentient creatures that evolved from cores and changed over time. Humans are the reason why modern Zoids have cockpits and such. Humans even ripped out zoid cores and put them in new bodies. It is brutal and cruel.
Ikr! For me, using a hobby knife was really therapeutic. Oh well, I keep forgetting Tomy is a children's brand at the end of the day. I bet they removed it to make it easier for children
@@omochareviews I thought so too. Good for kids who are getting into the hobby. :) Well, as a kid watching the Zoids anime back then, I also didn't have the know-how of taking out parts from the runners. Heck, I even used the cutting part of a long nose pliers when building my Deathsaurer! I realized how terrible my build was when I revisited my old Zoid after getting in to Gunpla, this time with the proper skills and tools. I even got to repair my Deathsaurer's broken tail, which I thought was a lost cause.
@@wilt3051 IKR!!! I remember doing that for the clear parts of my Deathsaurer's top visor. It's got a terrible stress mark on its side where it was connected to the runner. Years later I tried fixing it but I can only do so much. :P
Great eye! The claws in the video were switched. I didn't notice it until after shooting the video, so yes the thumb is supposed to be on the upper part :)
@@calvinj7496 Nope you were correct! The box art does show the thumbs on the upper part of the claws. It's quite confusing to build these guys if you're used to runners because you gotta eyeball the parts now lol

Good to note, thankyou!
The Zoids in the Wildverse reminds me of the Bio Zoids in Genesis... there's something very biozoid-ish about the zoids in this line :)
Have you seen the preview of the HMM Death Rex? It's like the Bio Tyranno. So exciting!

Yes, now the zoids modelkits/toys not came un a runners, imagine the huge box Whit that big pieces, also Is a big box to, More big than gunplas mg
No more runners? Didn’t know motorized Zoids kits today are like that. IMO, they took out one of the most enjoyable aspects of building it. :(

@@omochareviews haha Us kids back in the day never used Cutters or knives! We just twisted the Parts from the runners xD
Same here, horrible builds especially my old ligers. I was using scissors as a kid LOL

Was his thumbs suppose to be on the lower part of the hand instead of the upper part?

@@omochareviews oh wow. I didnt think it was an error on your build. I thought its zoids wild, maybe thats just the actual design
