    Some suggestions would be :
-Franck 1st trio (climax of middle-end 1st mvmt)
-Saint-Saens 5th concerto (end of last mvmt)
-Scriabin piano concerto (end of last mvmt)
-Martucci 2nd piano concerto (1st mvmt middle part)
-Medtner fairy tale op 35 no 4 (middle climax)
-Chausson concert end of last mvmt
-Reger Variations and Fugue on a theme by Bach - the fugue development
-Grieg Ballade - climax before theme return at the end
-Paderewski sonata 1st mvmt (middle build up)
-Enescu Suite no 2 : ending of Bourrée
    -Theodore Dubois 2nd concerto : 1st mvmt
    -Dussek Fantasia
-Joseph Marx : piano concerto (end of 1st)
-Macdowell 1st concerto end of 1st mvmt
-Godowsky Passacaglia (all climaxes are insane)
    -Lekeu piano sonata - fugue
-Glazunov 1st piano concerto 1st mvmt climax
    -Chabrier Pièces pittoresques : improvisation

Wow - I so thoroughly agree with almost all of these! Nice to see some love for Chausson's Concert for Piano Violin and String Quartet, Reger's Bach variations and Godowsky's passacaglia (some of my all time favourites).

Side info: The Kapustin clip from the intro is from a Russian film called "When The Song Does Not End" / "Когда песня не кончается" (1964). The movie looks rather weird, but I can't judge since I could only find it in Russian.

One suggestion: Rachmaninoff's Sonata No. 1 in D minor (op. 28).
This sonata features at least 3 climaxes, incredible musical ideas throughout, and a very explosive coda. Yet, said piece is unfortunately one of Rachmaninoff's least popular and underperformed works likely due to its performance length of roughly 30 minutes. Notable performances include the ones by Lugansky, Chochieva, and Hayroudinoff.

Kurt Atterberg's Piano Concerto, particularly the climax of Pt. 2, would be a great fit in this collection

May I recommend the breathtaking build up and climax that begin at around 11:30 minutes (in Marc-André Hamelin’s performance, the most popular one on UA-cam) into Ferruccio Busoni’s Piano Concerto in C Major, in the first movement?
