I love strats. My first guitar was a strat. My current guitar is a Les paul Standard 60's While the strat sounds good, the Les Paul *IS* that rock sound. It just is.
There is no room for comparison, one person must have both! Les Paul is the strongest in the drive channel, that is clear to everyone! As for the Stratocaster, there is no guitar in the world that can beat it on a clean channel.
I've owned both in my time and prefer the strat but that's just my preference. Both guitars are different in weight, feel, neck, etc. Anyone looking to buy a guitar should try both out and see which is best for them.
Single coil vs. humbucker, 24&3/4 vs. 25&1/2, it's really a matter of preference, l like both, PRS ain't bad either, though some may suggest otherwise.
I’ve always felt the a LP has a more raw sound, more adaptable to a metal genre, where a Stat has a cleaner sound more suited to other genres. The glaring exception being Dave Murray of Maiden who’s keeping the Strat relevant and front and centre in metal. Either way, it really boils down to the player, amp/effects and desired tone. You sound awesome on both!
The best guitar is the guitar that makes you feel like a rockstar even if you can't play on it. But no mather what i'm saying everybody of us have to many of them at home.
am I wrong in thinking a Les Paul just sounds ''chunkier'' more of a growl to it ,I like them better but what do I know I play the violin and highland pipes
Tune the Strat down half a step to E flat Eb and it will kill every guitar 🎸. This is what Hendrix did plus he was left handed and turned his right hand guitar upside down.
And so the arguments still go on, if the comments here are anything to go by, to Me there isn't any one of them better than the other, they both sound good, and the guy playing is talented, and is happy playing either, I assume this, as he makes no comments or choices, For Me I have a LP copy (not a Chibson) where the makers have no problem putting their name on the guitar, and a freebe Aria I was given, which had a Floyd Rose on it, so I converted it to a hard tail with top mounting strings, sounds much better now, plus its far easier to set up, and change strings, I like them both, but My LP copy was My first guitar and as such is MY second love in life, the Aria My third, who is first, Why My of course, and I have her pernission to say so.
Yes, I love them both. I am more of a Les Paul guy. I have Gibsons more than any other guitars I have before. But I started loving the strat too, I used to hate them hahaha. Not I have 4 Gibson Les pauls, 6 strats (some real Fenders some replicas), Fender Jazzmaster and Teles, DG-335 epi and a Gibson replica, 16 to count so far. I love all of them. What's not to hate when you enjoy playing guitars with different tones. But my first love are my LPs. =)
@@joebieksha2766 So, again, if it doesn’t matter, why did J Page switch from a tele to an LP? I guess he thought he did matter. Perhaps you can put him straight on that 😂
After almost 50 years of playing, purchasing, upgrading, repairing, and modifying guitars, this is one comparison that I liken to the old "Ford vs. Chevy" debate. It's a non-starter for me. I have owned both Les Pauls and Strats, they have their strengths and weaknesses just like any other manufactured product. The only thing I have taken umbrage to, and still to this day, is putting a humbucker in a Strat. Because that's exactly what it sounds like. A humbucker in a Strat......
Love both, have both. ❤😃
I’m a Les Paul guy but can’t deny the sound of a Strat….that’s a nice one too
You could give this guy a plastic kiddie cowboy guitar and he'd still tear it up. Love em both!
I love strats. My first guitar was a strat. My current guitar is a Les paul Standard 60's

Yes.
Man I like both. Why choose! Okay I do like LPs better but strats and teles are killer too.
Absolutely fantastic have a great day also I have to say I am a Fender person ❤😊
I can't stop listening ❤
The Les Paul howls and the Strat screams, both beautiful. Nicely done.
The strat kills it ok this one 👌
There is no room for comparison, one person must have both! Les Paul is the strongest in the drive channel, that is clear to everyone! As for the Stratocaster, there is no guitar in the world that can beat it on a clean channel.
DAYUM! Sounding killer mate. That '64 replica is drool worthy, making me wanna get one or build one haha! Cheers.
Great song to. Going Down,Down 😂😂 Both guitars are good & guitarist always makes the difference..
You play great and have very nice guitars.
Cool playing and tones
Nice playing 👏 LP sounds nice above 12th fret leads. Strat has a more expressive voice overall IMOP .
Keep posting please
❤
Amazing 😍🤩❤
Обе шикарны!

Les Paul for the win !
Both
Magnifique
Is ok .. Modern technology effect can change any sound 🙏
Love it❤
fender ❣
Bro, you did it!!! Strat definitely! You made it like no one else here. LP is so empty!!!
Beautiful guitars😊

This gentleman would sound FANTASTIC playing an out of tune Hello Kitty Ukulele with 2 busted strings. EXCELLENT work Sir. EXCELLENT.

LP looks great but strat sounds more pleasant for my ears
They both sound great it's not really the guitar that makes it sound great it's the guy playing it makes it sound great.
Wow! Blown away with the playing forgot what the video was about.
LP❤
There's obviously something more in the signal chain. Those LP pups look like aftermarket. I bet everything that dude plays is incendiary 💥
Strat for me! But the LP would work also.
Ok, now see if the LP can quack like a Strat.
Love fender. Gibson is more powerful

The les paul sounds deep dirty and the strat sounds light fluffy. I can hear the switch up.
In 1976 I purchased my first real guitar a 1973 strat with my lawn cutting money my next 43 guitars were Les Paul’s including a PRS Les Paul 😊
Heard the 70s Strats were crap?
With Clean Sounds would be a good , to have a broader idea
Strat forever
great playing and tone. what amp and effects were you using ?
Tune the Strat down half a step to E flat Eb and it will kill every guitar 🎸. This is what Hendrix did plus he was left handed and turned his right hand guitar upside down.
would it be possible to have the backing track, please? Thanks!
Les Paul rules🎉
Super demo ça déménage, c est sur qu'elle reprise?

That's cool and all but man, it's way too heavily processed for a comparison.
What guitar doesnt matter, the person who play is the key.
Then why did Jimmy Page change from a Telecaster to a Les Paul ? I guess you know more than him 😂
The person playing is key. The guitar choice is preference. Jimmy Paige could have played a gene Autry guitar wouldn't of mattered.
@@joebieksha2766 So, again, if it doesn’t matter, why did J Page switch from a tele to an LP? I guess he thought he did matter. Perhaps you can put him straight on that 😂
Wrong, it matters everything. Sweet Child o Mine would sound horrible on a Strat. Under the Bridge would sound horrible on a Les Paul.
One thing doesn’t exclude the other…
Можно вообще ничего не изображать. Одни подтяжки. Я тоже так делаю, когда пилить лень
Love the backing track!! What artist and song?
Going down..Freddie king I believe
Ain’t that a chibson
This comparison is a good idea. !
What are other considerations ?
2 of my friends say you need at least 26 guitars
Do another using the same guitars bit switch to the neck pickup…..
daniel johns had so much going for him and now look at him. sad times.
Who?
Set them the same and they sound the same
