New Subscriber here. Partner used to do clothes steaming and tagging in a charity shop, yes items do get rotated between their charity shops and once been around they then get ragged. I'm not a big clothes seller but have been known to buy large bundles from stores closing or in sales. ie bought around 100 denim micro skirts from Jane Norman for £1 each which were retailed at £29.99 and 99% sold for £15 plus P&P and many dresses from when they closed there store here. Also buy alot of underwear in M&S Sales which has always done me well. Some of the brands you have stated across many of your videos I would never of looked twice at. But there are a few well off areas on the island I live so may have to start taking a mental note and seeing what can be found. I do remember a DSquared 2 Hoodie I picked up in a charity shop for £3 which the misses liked which clearly is a brand which was missed when tagging for the shop floor. Good luck on your searching and thankyou for opening my eyes to higher brands which are unknown to most. :) Malc
I used to volunteer in a charity shop which received a lot of donations so they rotated stock regularly. In that shop, stock that was on the floor for more than 3 weeks was delisted and sent back to a central donation centre. It was then redistributed to other stores that didn't have enough stock.
Yep 100% charity shops rotate stock ( I used to be a manager for one company and now I volunteer for another company). Both companies keep stock on the shop floor for 2/3 weeks and then move it onto another shop.
@@theluxurypickers wow! The prices here in Germany are pretty good, even for used. Joules and Mini Boden, too. And even George/ASDA sells good. Joules became a nightmare ordering online. You pay big money for returns because of the brexit. Maybe we need a bigger car. Truck, I should say truck 😜😜
I can always count on you two putting a smile on my face ❤😊
This makes us both very happy! ❤️

Sooooo interesting. The inner workings of these places always intrigues us. Thanks for your comments 🙌🏻

Blue Cross is an animal charity - probably why the animal stuff 😅 it’s like the Red Cross for animals 😅
You learn something new everyday!! That would make perfect sense! 😂😂
I really love Seasalt! They closed the outlet store in Street, I just noticed. Maybe we will visit the factory outlet. Have you been there?
I didn’t know they had a outlet in street! I remember when they closed the whistles outlet, you could get dresses in there for pennies!
