Thanks for this video. I'm planning on buying it just for audio on my computer but at the beginning of the video, I already dislike the loudness. It's not enough for its price.
Hi, fantastic video. Just have two questions: 1. Will the rear speakers function as surround when connected through bluetooth 2. Does the receiver have to align with the sub when connected or as long as it’s with a certain radius, it should work. Thanks and I’ve been looking at this speakers for awhile now
Bluetooth can only carry stereo due to bandwidth. For the subwoofer, it's physically connected to the soundbar and ports such as hdmi are also in the back of the sub woofer not the soundbar.
Hello, new subscriber here, recently bought a 65 LG smart tv and looking for a budget home theater about less than P20k. What can you suggest or recommend? Came across Ultimea Poseidon D60 dolby atmos 5.1 and D70 7.1 from US. Are you familiar with them?
@@GlennThoughts dolby atmos is the only thing that is stopping me to buy it and tbh i don't know what sounbar or home theater with dolby atmos to buy with the same range of price as the ht-s40r
@@GlennThoughts if my samsung tv cu8000 has an hdmi eARC but don't support dolby atmos it means that a sound bar or home theater with dolby atmos will work even if its the tv don't support dolby atmos ?
@@GlennThoughts thanks. but actually im leaning more into buying samsungs hwq600c based fron your reviews. I think its better to have a quality 3.1.2 system with future expandability rather than a subpar 5.1 system. thank you for your reviews! they were great
I mean at this point wouldnt it be smaller package to just have the left right and center? with all that extra plastic gap between them lol. It jerks my chain that they got rid of theater in a box for these crappy soundbars IMO .. Thanks for the vid! And to answer your question, yes the enclosure for the sub is a reused enclosure and has been used since early 2000s.
May delay settings po ba for surround rears? At pwede po ba adjust volume ng center channel , since may times na mababa volume ng center sa mga 5.1 movies?
Hey, just saying... the bit at the beginning and the great sound? I'm listening an TV speakers and I can't hear what you can... that's kinda why I'm here.

@@red23rd better other options around as well like Samsung!
@@GlennThoughts HT G700 is around $334 and S40R only $267 in my country, which Samsung is better in this range of price?
Do you have a warranty just in case for error malfunction ?

@@dual_5928 it's from my old speakers..

If dolby content is played, are the dialogues coming from only center speaker or also from the rear speakers ??
