Hi - haven't heard this in years. If you check the label it says words and music c.day. That's me, I wrote the song, sang the high harmony, and played lead guitar on this and the flip side, Babylon. Mike Siebold wasn't in this band when we recorded this. Mark Zurlage played bass, Jim Dant played drums and Bill Tullis sang low harmony and played rythm.Stewart Payne over-dubbed the Fender Rhodes. Thanks for posting this, it brings back memories - I was 17 when I did this.
Outrageous job for just a 17 year old person.Thank you for all the information about the song Charlie. It is my pleasure to share the unknown "gems" of the 60s in youtube and of course in my blog.
Good tune! I had the pleasure of playing in a band with Jim Dant in Nashville for several years. As a bass player, it was a joy to play with a drummer of such skill. He spoke of his time playing in Louisville. I wish I could have witnessed it live.
