Despite their true origin, my headcanon is that they were victims of Umarak’s wrath and the green heads are their real heads covered by new monstrous faces. Kind of like Springtrap from FNAF. A shame I didn’t get the sets when they were still on shelves…
Oh great! Now we (kinda) have all of the G2 beasts, at a large scale revamp! Jackfrosts Lava beast revamp, and this Quake Beast revamp. Now we just need a Storm Beast Revamp!
Fun coincidence, I got myself him and the other two beasts for Christmas :P They'll round out my summer 2016 collection (barring the promotional stuff sadly)
I love quake beast despite never being able to get him myself, Not only is he a weird little guy (which I love) He also has the best and funniest attack function that didn't come from a 2001 Rahi. the attack functions along with the Kanohi mask game in general to me, Is a major part of Bionicle's Identity, I love toys that physically interact and battle with each other, things Like Beyblade, bakugan (not bakugan gen 3,) b-daman/Bottleman, I all love because of their interactivity with other sets form their respective series, and Bionicle's Mask game and Attack functions from 2001-2002 Panders to that love of mine to the moon and back. But why do I think Quake beast has the best attack function? well its not for any competitive reason, It's because unlike other sets from Bionicle's past, like the Toa Mata, Toa Nuva, Toa Metru, and masters, which all swing their weapons ups and down, or the Rahkshi, Vahki, and Uniters that swing side to side in a slashing motion, Quake Beast's Attack function is a disrespectful backhanded slap, Maybe I'm reading to far into it, But I feel that this type of attack function gives Quakes beast a sort of disrespectful and aggressive personality. Like I can totally see a Quake beast just backhanding another elemental beast that walk past him just because Quake beast felt like it. Anyway, that it all, I hope to get a quake beast one day...
He is my favorite too! He and the creature of stone are the only sets i need to complete my bionicle g2 wave. I just love how goofy he looks. And there is a stop motion video from lumaken studios that made me like him even more (its called “my brain hurts” from monty python)
Even in the first G1 sets, you could pose the weapons to they would hit themselves with the gear gimmick. But they couldn't really pose good enough to punch themselves tho.
@@BenCossyOfficial oh, thank God. i think i'm about to finally get a stable job and finally finish the collection (i have all the ones that came out in australia when they came out, plus big ekimu and beeg umarak)
Buy a bunch of them and make a quake dragon that is a flightless earth dragon that has a major deposit of ore and crystals as armor...I could see it....
"Kaiju" is a word derived from Japanese, which roughly translates to "bizarre monster" if I remember correctly. Nowadays it's most commonly used specifically to describe giant monsters like King Kong or Godzilla.

That's some cool head canon, I like that
@ thanks!
Aye you finally got your hands on Quake Beast. I remember you saying you couldn't find it when you went to America in 2017 or 2018. Such a good set
I've somehow never seen this last wave of Bionicle villains before. Fascinating!
5:33 Lmao, three years later the text is still glitched.
Nice This makes me happy This makes me smile

4:45 hey that reminds me of megatron's mace. i wonder if they'll reuse this piece if they ever make a system set of him
Sweet!

The "revamp" looks like bayverse devastator

5:35 it’s so jarring seeing this knowing exactly what the name is from, I’m a big fan of DAGames
Definitely got him in aus, picked him up from a Kmart
Man I’m so mad I wasn’t able to pick him up

OF COURSE, WHEN I HAVE A MOC THAT I KEEP PUTTING OFF SENDING TO U, U MAKE THE VID 😭😭😭
8:19 upper arm and lower leg XDDD
pls no, it didn't come out in my country and i'm scared that the vid will drive price up or stocks down before i can get 2 of them for my collection
I don't think any of my videos have ever driven up the price of LEGO sets on the aftermarket, you should be good ;)

Best for last. Quake Beast, hands down. Pun intended.
I have this set, well actually i have all the elemental beasts of G2 Bionicle
Think I owned a bionical toy at some point I don't remember but I think I did own one

Why are you hitting yourself? Why are you hitting yourself? Why are you hitting yourself? 😈
Take a look at how a guy fixed these sets on the channel ”Play Stippling”
(Not an ad)
Omg they made the purple trans
Translucent purple pieces have been around for decades now.
Brain attack bruiser but prettier
Hey Mr. Ben.Lets show my age .I keep hearing this word and I dont know what it is .What is KAIJU ?

Thank you very much .
If you know about Pacific rim the monsters are kaijus, Godzilla and king Ghidorah are too
I only know the name . I never saw the movie .
Sorry, but atleast you know what "Kaiju" means
G2 offered really cool new pieces but the way they were used in the sets was meh, more interested in the pieces than the set they came in
This set is why I'm proud to be an american
