Im preparing to take the AZ-900 exam soon, and I want to thank you for the thorough explanations and videos you've provided. It's fantastic to have resources like yours to refer to when learning.
That's the ticket John, thanks for addressing this topic in under 15 minutes. It makes it digestible for a far wider audience who are just looking to spin up some VMs and get started on Azure. (Maybe think about getting a wireless Lavalier mic if your employer pays for it - it would make your great videos even better)
Just so awesome! Cleared up tons. One question. Local storage vs remote storing was to some extent confusing. Is virtual machines not using local storage as virtualised storage portion of that? Since you talk about remote
Thank you John for the informative video. Please can you also help me on which VM type we should select for Relation db, Big data, App Server , Web Server. What is the criteria for this selection.
Great video. How is the size of the C:\ drive determined for each size of VM? Is this done during VM creation? I just need to deploy some general purpose VM’s for Dev/Test with 4 vCPU, 8/16 GB ram, and 100-150 GB C:\ drives.
Quick question. I'm looking into also taking the Azure path. With which cert do i start? the Azure Administrator? Certs i got are A+ Network + Server 2K12, and 2K16, Linux +.

I watched a few of your videos about Azure. You explained it very well. Thank you, John 👍👍
Great to hear!
Another great video, very informative! Looking forward to seeing more!
Awesome, thank you!

This is all my own equipment and played with a wireless mic before and wasn’t great. I’m playing around with mic position. Oh well. Can’t be perfect.
No you can't - it's already great quality mate, thanks a lot for taking the time to share. It's very helpful to help us all move forward together.
Your deep dive whiteboard session is good. Request you to do one about app services and related network integration
that will be a while, i have a list of other things to do first but eventually :)
Eagerly waiting for another video ! Thank you
Thanks!
Thank you so much for all your videos and great explanation. Your time and passion is greatly appreciated.
You are very welcome
Another insightful video, loving these. Thank you John. 👍👍👍
Thanks!

Local storage is the temp areas on the host.
Thank You for quick and easy explanation.
My pleasure!

You need to understand what resource it commonly bottlenecks on. Db is likely memory, app could be balanced etc
This is excellent video on VM sizes
Thank you

Thanks for the splendid explanation!
Glad it was helpful!

I would do the fundamentals first then maybe admin.
@@NTFAQGuy Alright thank you
succinct and clear John. Thank you
Thank you!
Deep dive into VM size 👏👏👏
Thanks!
Great video, I think you missed out G series.
maybe :-) point was different optimizations. they change all the time.
Well done🎉
Well, this could be simpler if the letters related to the type... C=compute/cpu, M=Memory, S=Storage, G=gpu ... but nooo! lets confuse people lol
lol, well G stands for Godzilla if that helps :-D
