    Thank you so much for posting this recording of my grandfather's interpretation of K 331! I do not believe a published recording exists of him playing this sonata, making this document invaluable. My deepest gratitude to you for making it possible for me and others to listen.

    Serkin's K.511 Rondo was paced very much like this, very lucid yet intense, and informed by something sacred. Something at the core of Mozart is going on here that dismisses anything that is not at the human center of the score. This is Mozart from another perspective, a deeper one that declares the composer's soul. Notwithstanding the finger slips in the final allegro variation and in the last few bars of the allegretto, a magnificent interpretation throughout. Thank you, sir, for posting this on youtube.
