@Marcus Samuelsson The craziest thing to me is that I was a pastry cook at that same Red Rooster. The same year this was filmed. I had an opportunity to create and serve a special for the dessert menu. I just want to say thank you for giving me that shot so early in my career.
it took me so long to realize what Gary was saying. When he says "go out and do it" you really have to just go out. no matter what it is. watching his vids don't help. They're great info but it won't help you with experience. Honestly I was just scared but now I'm making moves. Sorry Gary. I won't be watching your vids that often. Thanks Homie. One day I'll meet you. Cya
It´s my favorite show so far! I cannot really tell why. I guess because it has this practical advice that fits best on my current situation! I love all your content! Thank you, Gary and your team!
This is definitely one of my most favorite recent AGV episodes. So much tactical and religion advice. Plus @marcuscooks is the best!! P.S. Tristan is definitely the man, him and Gary are my favorite top two entreprenuer's of this era!
Great show! Thanks! I have a lot of friends in the New Orleans (and south Louisiana area) starting their culinary carreers. Forwarded the show to them, and they are instant fans... Thank again, guys!
This is interesting, I like that you keep moving around and keeping things fresh Gary. I've seen Chef Samuelsson for years on tv, good to see him on UA-cam telling his story
Hey Gary, this video was great, love Marcus! Could you please do an episode talking about the changes & shifts ahead for major companies in the fashion industry?
Gary, I can't get enough of you videos because the information you provide, the people you invite and the discussions have benefit my life directly in a positive way. I know that I am asking for a luxury, but please upgrade your microphone, I can't hear the guests and raising the volume makes it buzz. Keep em up!
Awesome guest and conversation! He was very energetic and seemed like he really wanted to give good recommendations! He cared about your audience! I feel like a lot of your other guests just wanted to pitch.
I think the next platform is building true customer intimacy - you can use what ever platform (ideally the one that has most of your customers attention) and then max the F out of intimacy - especially in the food industry service. Word of mouth is STRONG.
Gary, this is awesome. I loved it. I really do not care how much money you make but I love the truth that you bring to the table. I wish I could meet you! I really do.
Curious to get this group's (and #askgaryvee) thoughts. I just started a UA-cam video and have about 10 videos. Should I try to build social marketing awareness on other social sites as I launch the site, or should I just focus on pounding out as many videos as possible for the UA-cam channel now and worry about social marketing when I have a deeper pool of content? Any and all opinions are appreciate. Thanks! - Paul
An episode with Tristan Walker from Bevel, about the healthcare industry would be awesome. I see that you talked about him and is familiar with his movement.
+Stefan Hollstein Years, brother. Years of content. Been following Gary since 2008 on Wine Library tv, but it's better that you joined late than never. Welcome.
This final part on the video about the next platform was actually really intresting. I'm not an expert in startups or social media subjects but I really do think that the next platform will be created in Brazil, actually has been in building process already and wiil be launched at the end of this year (2019) and the name will be LIFE CONNECTION.
Gary, you and Marcus are AMAZING together. You have great, super engaging synergy together. Would love to see you guys chop it up some more another time. Only thing I'd love to see you develop on is allowing your guests' sentences to breathe a little. I think sometimes you can just choke off the guest and I get it, you want tightly packaged answers. The other thing is that when you place a level of competition into the conversation,--- you've done that here and-- with Casey and I think your father in law and some other men--- where you will go into their "personal space" at the table with your arm gestures. Here to tell you, you don't need to compete with anyone or feel a certain way. Everyone of your guests respect you, as do we the viewer and trust me Gary - there's no danger of anyone outshining you on your own show (the way you outshone Tai Lopez - stark contrast - no dis to him. Off subject: BTW, you meant it when you said you think he was a piece of shit LMAO OMG! smh.) When that happens, its always uncomfortable to watch because it feels tense; I'm hoping that you will wrestle that urge down a bit. Anyway great episode! I hope you'll do something else with Marcus. Marcus is awesome, last year when he opened Street Bird, he was always there, extremely hands on but seemingly with a laid back personality with his staff. Always a mover and a shaker and a great chef. Cheers!
I've been making musically content in the BJJ and Wrestling niches. Very little competition and seeing some growth. Very interested in seeing if I can capture that audience. Thanks for getting me into Musically Gary, been a good way to build my short form highlight video skills as well.
Great interview. Love the feel of the last couple of shooows off site! Definitely going to Red Rooster when our group of friends travels to NYC in September! Menu and vibe looks great!! Lots of solid content as well for small business!! Thanks Gary and Marcus. PS. How were the snacks India? :)
#QOTD Line or Periscope. If Periscope can build a better feed. It can build on what Snapchat has built in terms of friends and following. People can tune in more to what friends are doing far away without having to Facetime. Line seems to blend a lot of what apps already offer, it's just lacking reach. It has features similar to Facebook, Instagram, and Venmo
#QOTD -- I truly think Spotify is going to make some big moves towards being a more social-centric app within three years as Apple Music grows to compete and while the "buying music from iTunes" arm phases out. Spotify has a rock-solid foundation and they've made great progress from a mobile UI/UX standpoint over the past 18 months and they have a lot of room to move in the social direction. I think Spotify will add music news, add live video / live audio / live rehearsal / etc. and I think they're going to make a play to IPO within 24 months and use the money to buy Soundcloud. They can't afford to have a price point higher than Netflix because video will always carry higher value to the consumer than audio, and they can't continue to thrive while paying such low royalties for much longer. I think they'll be building out a bigger social component and add a lot of "live" and "news" features to become an app that people pay more attention to rather than an app that people open to play their music and then immediately turn off the screen. I think they are smart enough to know how strong Apple is and will yield a "market share" play and instead leverage the musicians.
+ExplosiveDuck That's a strong prediction and points to you having visionary traits... Even if Spotify don't end up doing that (I agree and think they will) those are some very good ideas!
Torrent killed music industry and youtube will kill the university industry (except for medical studies etc). You get all you need from people like Gary, Tai etc. Thank you Gary, always buying your books and lending them out to people everywhere. You're a fucking gangster with this shit! WOuldn't be able to do what I'm doing without you.
I guess Im randomly asking but does any of you know a way to get back into an Instagram account..? I stupidly forgot my login password. I would love any help you can offer me.
@Emerson Tristen thanks for your reply. I found the site thru google and I'm in the hacking process atm. Takes a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
The show is a level up since Gary said as Entrepreneurs we must ask...l have a #WINELUSHIOUS question related to Travel to ask Gary now am getting gutsy ! Just need to know what timing and channel to use here or email.
Great episode love the advice about grinding it out searching hash tags and contacting people to make the ask on sending them a product to try and potentially help promote. My passion is craft beer and food. Any advice on product development in that area? I have food service experience although I am not a chef. I am leaning more toward online products in that space. Blogging, reviewing and helping people learn to brew beer and cook great at home meals. Does it sound like I am leaning in the right direction?
Coffee beer has made its way to me. That Musical.ly for cooking is a brilliant idea, though. Even if people on Musical.ly are predominately really young it'll still stick. Love the sharebear lol
awesome guest appearance. Sharebear is my spirit animal. also, gary I had ponderings of a transitioning wine/coffee/tea/appetizer bar, though in the city i was based in. you might have to deal with repetitive hustle emails from me for a while. i.e. sorry India
Gary, please pump out more content on your thoughts @9:00 re: the land grab on new platforms. This is a new riff on something you've been saying for a while and I want to see where it leads.
I like the subject specific shows Gary. But with all respect for your partners on the last few episodes I believe the #AskGaryVee is best served (pun intended) as a one man show...
I am 17..and wanna learn the basics of business.i am basically into parkour and just started it.i love it.and I am improving....what should be my steps to get knowledge in business.please somebody advice. thank you. parkour is not known in India...my country
I've been following Gary's work for about 2 years now ... Based from what I've learned from Gary is that he'll definitely recommend you to put out content about " Parkour " on Snapchat , Fb and Instagram .. You'll build reputation in India for that :)
Parkour is great tool to learn self awareness, overcoming personal fears and building mental fortitude. I use it in my daily life as a tool to overcome any challenge, even in business. There's ALWAYS a path, you will find a way to overcome a challenge if the intention is to get to point B ;) Keep at it, you learn a lot through PK/FR - much love from Durban Parkour and Freerunning! :)
loved the show! Idk what the next big thing is in social media but as an aspiring Chef and a life long foodie I am totally going to check out Musical.ly and see what it's all about!
This episode should never end. The energy between Marcus and Gary is my high.
Totally agree.
Coffee in cocktails....I'm buying! That'd be deeeeeelicious!
@Marcus Samuelsson The craziest thing to me is that I was a pastry cook at that same Red Rooster. The same year this was filmed. I had an opportunity to create and serve a special for the dessert menu. I just want to say thank you for giving me that shot so early in my career.

It´s my favorite show so far! I cannot really tell why. I guess because it has this practical advice that fits best on my current situation! I love all your content! Thank you, Gary and your team!
i really liked this episode, there's a really good chemistry between you and Marcus!
This is definitely one of my most favorite recent AGV episodes. So much tactical and religion advice. Plus @marcuscooks is the best!! P.S. Tristan is definitely the man, him and Gary are my favorite top two entreprenuer's of this era!
Best #AskGaryVee show, in my opinion, BY FAR!!! Thank you
Most practical episode in a while - much appreciated.
Marcus Samuelsson!! Two legends in one video. Brilliant! 🍷👍
Great show! Thanks! I have a lot of friends in the New Orleans (and south Louisiana area) starting their culinary carreers. Forwarded the show to them, and they are instant fans... Thank again, guys!
So glad you had a chef on the show!! 👍👍
This is interesting, I like that you keep moving around and keeping things fresh Gary. I've seen Chef Samuelsson for years on tv, good to see him on UA-cam telling his story

Great episode! I am catching up on episodes on my day off. I never would have tried to answer that QOD, that's why I follow Gary... 😂👏🏼💯
Gary and gary's team... THANK YOU !
BRO THAT LIQUID IDEA IS SO GOOD.
Hey Gary, this video was great, love Marcus!
Could you please do an episode talking about the changes & shifts ahead for major companies in the fashion industry?
Exactly one year of this! 😱 Love you Gary!
it's coming out of vancouver 45-60 days, sit tight! Hi Marcus, Gary Vee - big fan of you both. cheers stu
One of my favourite episodes yet
Another great episode. It's the battle of the hand movement
Gary, I can't get enough of you videos because the information you provide, the people you invite and the discussions have benefit my life directly in a positive way.
I know that I am asking for a luxury, but please upgrade your microphone, I can't hear the guests and raising the volume makes it buzz. Keep em up!

Best episode in a while! Marcus is the man.
QOTD: Will still be Facebook. Right on with the episode! Practical to the bone! It's Friday afternoon and I'm fired up!
I think the next platform is building true customer intimacy - you can use what ever platform (ideally the one that has most of your customers attention) and then max the F out of intimacy - especially in the food industry service. Word of mouth is STRONG.
Two icons one #askgaryvee show. Marcus' work for justice and charity is so amazing that it is almost, almost better than his food.
the share bear literally makes me want to share every time bro hahah
Gary, this is awesome. I loved it. I really do not care how much money you make but I love the truth that you bring to the table. I wish I could meet you! I really do.

marcus has long been a legend. great episode!
Great episode. I really loved the stuff in B&W at the very end.
An episode with Tristan Walker from Bevel, about the healthcare industry would be awesome. I see that you talked about him and is familiar with his movement.
Short term goal for me...be on the #AskGaryVee show...leggo!
2 episodes of the #AskGaryVee Show the same day, I can't keep up with that ^^.

Love this episode! Great energy, Marcus!
I'm not a foodie, but very good show and great little extra right at the end in b/w.
Just subscribed. Love the energy and motivation brotha!
Welcome to the community you got alot of videos to catch up on :D
+Stefan Hollstein Years, brother. Years of content. Been following Gary since 2008 on Wine Library tv, but it's better that you joined late than never. Welcome.
Wow, I almost envy you the journey of discovery ;)
The best marketing is from Loyalty Reward Stamp. Hands-down they have everything a restaurant needs to increase sales and loyal customers.
Gary, you've inspired me to do my own "Ask" show for my audience. What Lav Microphone are you using?
This final part on the video about the next platform was actually really intresting. I'm not an expert in startups or social media subjects but I really do think that the next platform will be created in Brazil, actually has been in building process already and wiil be launched at the end of this year (2019) and the name will be LIFE CONNECTION.
Really enjoyed this episode! Really relate to a of of this.

Gary, this episode is brilliant! Keep doing episodes like this from different industries! Travel industry at some point maybe? ;)
Where's Marcus's musicly posts at? Cause I can't find them. hahaha
Great interview. Love the feel of the last couple of shooows off site!
Definitely going to Red Rooster when our group of friends travels to NYC in September! Menu and vibe looks great!!
Lots of solid content as well for small business!! Thanks Gary and Marcus.

@Gary Vaynerchuk that all in one bar idea is genius!

Start doing parkour to music on musically. Get in on the ground floor of a big trend.
Parkour is great tool to learn self awareness, overcoming personal fears and building mental fortitude. I use it in my daily life as a tool to overcome any challenge, even in business.
