Glad you highlighted the Napoleon Wrasse, unfortunately some Asian cultures have decided the hump is a delicacy and now they are being killed to fill that market.
Grace, your underwater cinematography and narrative is beyond approach. Truly amazing episode, we are all praying you Calico is safe and secure with the predicted weather in your forecast. Spectacular in every way.
You guys really have a knack for underwater photography... some real excellent stuff.. this spot suits you ! 😊that is about the best thumbnail picture, ever..
Back in the 70's I used to dive a sub surface cliff off Day Island in the Puget Sound. We dove just before slack tide and had to get back before tide flow returned. Either way, the tide flow created a "waterfall" effect that would suck you over and down the cliff. Many divers have been lost due to poor planning but that dive was AMAZING.
Groupers are cool! Especially those groupers, it's amazing how well they blend into their surroundings. You've got to love this drift diving it looks like a blast! The clarity of the water is amazing. Good stuff guys! Its gonna be hard to leave this place. Be well ❤ !!
I've been excited for the day you 2 would get to make this dive, excited that you've gotten the opportunity and excited for me to get to see it again, through a few channels now it's become a favorite of mine. I've always had a healthy fear of sharks, but when you see them up close like this and they are showing no real interest in multiple humans swimming around, it becomes obvious that we aren't at the top of their menu choices.
What are the schooling fish with yellow tails and big eyes? They look a little like Yellow Tailed Snapper in Florida. Have you caught any? Are they good to eat? Beautiful dive. Thanks for filming the adventure.
Those fish were amazing! The groupers really did blend in with the coral background. I am wondering what kind of light colored fish had the yellow tails? Hmmmm It was funny to not see one shark catch and eat any fish. Maybe they had had their fill. And, near the very end we get a little Chocolate. It's always nice to end with a bit of Chocolate! LOL
I love your dive footage, but I'm wondering if you process any extra corrections on your deep dive footage, as you can see due to the depth the colours are muted a lot more, and I know this is an issue I have had myself. I've used Dive+ in the past which is amazing and cheap if it helps in the future.
Funny, the Humpheads also call Humans a species of concern… 🤔 and extensive research revealed Grouper camou roughly translates into “I’m with -> Stupid”. I guess Hunter Thompson was right: Buy the ticket, take the ride! Seeing is believing.
Awesome location and dive you guys are becoming very skilled in UW photography are you using a double handled tray for the hero? Stability is rock solid with a tray or dome and fairly cheap. What year and month was footage filmed I'm trying to establish level of coral bleaching year to date. Was lucky enough to dive it in June 1985 over 30 drops wasent able to hit it exactly on the full moon but still hundreds of grouper and sharks and zero bleaching one of the most un forgettable months of my life . Thank you for all of your videos looking forward to your next offering. Regards
Bill and Grace, I 💕 your videos. Just wondering out of curiosity, if you accept cryptocurrencies such as BTC, ETH, SOL, SUI, or even privacy coins like Monero (XMR), Pirate Chain (AAAR), or DERO, as a donation, I guess. Watching from Queensland, Australia, as usual. :)

Hi friends, you should never free dive after scuba dive. Always freedive before and scuba after.
