Man, growing up as a '90s kid...we had Nickelodeon at its best, especially with the game shows. GUTS, Legends of the Hidden Temple, Double Dare, Nick Arcade, Wild and Crazy Kids, What Would You Do?, and Figure It Out...aww, man, what a lineup.

Fun fact: The voice of Olmec (the stone face) in Legends of the Hidden Temple is Dee Bradley Baker, one of the most prolific voice actors of all time.
Some of his credits include Appa & Momo in Avatar the Last Airbender, Naga, Pabu, & Tarrlok in Legend of Korra, Perry the Platypus in Phineas & Ferb, all the clones in Star Wars the Clone Wars, & Klaus in American Dad.

Knew Millionaire and Robot Wars as we had those in the uk. Got Carmen Sandiago from the character. We had the cartoon.

Most of the Nick shows I think need to come back. I loved watching Guts and Figure it out along with Legends of the Hidden temple. I'm surprised they didn't know Carmen Sandiego since the Netflix show reboot (which is really entertaining tbh) but maybe they go outside more than me these days lol.

Carmen Sandiego scared me as a kid. I kept expecting her to come out and kidnap one of those children!
Legends of the Hidden Temple was my shiiiit. I always wanted to do that. And now I do escape rooms and fail 🤣

Legends of the Hidden Temple is where you should be afraid of getting kidnapped.

13:33 Two things about the money. First, accounting for inflation, the value would be closer to 10k and secondly, it was more about the fun and entertainment than it was about the $.
